    Project Coordinator

    Responsibilities

    Execute a successful Project and assist the Project Manager in all areas and phases of the Project; SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). Creates, coordinates, updates, mitigates, and presents documentation/meetings/presentations/reports for internal reporting, client reporting, variation orders, invoicing, costs, budgets, staffing plans, Stage Gate, schedule, project controls and other documentation as required by the client and management.

    Main Tasks

    Coordinates and communicates project progress and cost requirements to the key support functions to meet scheduled shipments in a quality and cost effective manner.
    Acts as the secondary communication contact (internal and external) for the project in the absence of the Project Manager.
    Consolidates and analyzes information from Product Planning Analysts, Project Manager and System Engineer to develop the overall project Schedule (baseline time-phased schedule with proper constraints) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for assigned project sales orders.
    Incorporates, Communicates, and Manages changes in customer requirements, change orders, and variation orders.
    Conducts and participates in Schedule Reviews within FMC and with main suppliers as appropriate to ensure that schedule requirements are met.
    Prepares reports for Project Administration / Project Manager including but not limited to Client Reports, summary schedule updates, status of deliverables, potential cost/schedule variance caused by client scope changes. Prepares FMC Management Reports such as monthly schedule updates, Project Controls, and cost/schedule variance (internal and external).
    Analyzes the project schedule, monitors progress and highlights potential cost/schedule variances. Recommends Corrective Action Plans for Project Management approval.
    Maintains change order inquiry, request and approval log to ensure that all changes are captured.
    Assists with the development of Engineering and Project Management Resource Plans.

    Requirements

    - BA or BS in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
    - Must have good understanding of Project Management process.
    - Eight plus years of experience in scheduling, materials, engineering, projects or financial analysis with exposure to the project management process.
    - Project controls experience preferred.
    - Must demonstrate ability to independently consolidate and analyze information from various sources to develop effective overall project schedules.
    - Must demonstrate exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with suppliers and co-workers in a team-based environment.
    - Must demonstrate effective report writing, presentation skills, strong organization skills, and project planning ability.
    - Good understanding of project finances including revenue, cost, working capital, and margin
    - Good computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Able to quickly learn new software.
    - Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
    - Subsea Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
    - Contractual review experience preferred
    - Professional individual capable of interfacing with clients and speak on behalf of FMC Technologies required
    - Must demonstrate a mature understanding of Project Management and Production Management techniques and standards.
    - Demonstrates an understanding of the communication process and ensures effectiveness (written, verbal and listening) across functional and managerial boundaries.
    - Must be action oriented, be able to deal with ambiguity, be able to learn on the fly, assess and set priorities, and have excellent time management

    NX Drafter

    Responsibilities

    Prepares basic level CAD detail drawings, sub-assemblies and final assemblies with complete dimensional data for engineering and manufacturing purposes. Prepares moderately complex drafting tasks in preparing various 2D and 3D-drawings of intricately designed parts and assemblies / prepares several views as wells as preparing the full system installation sequence drawings.

    Main Tasks

    Learns FMCTI’s design practices, systems, processes, and procedures.
    Prepares basic level CAD detail and assembly drawings from sketches, mark-up prints and other reference materials under the direction of senior level Drafters, Designers, Engineers, Sales Personnel or Supervisor.
    Creates preliminary drawings with complete dimensional data for engineering and manufacturing purposes that are neat and completed in a timely fashion. Reviews drawings for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable design drafting standards.
    Creates final production detail drawings.
    Prepares basic level sales or sequence drawings as directed.
    Develops basic interpersonal communication skills
    Performs administrative and related responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements

    - Minimum HND in Mechanical/Civil/Industrial Engineering field preferred
    - Typically 2+ years of drafting and/or designing of mechanical related equipment experience.
    - Two year experience with 3D mechanical CAD solid modeling software package or NX software preferred.
    - Knowledge of standard drafting techniques per ASME Y 14.
    - Familiarization with subsea completions systems preferred.
    -Diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering field preferred.
    - Ability to read and understand job related documents and procedures such as reference to existing installed system and related procedure.
    - Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities and work in team-oriented environment is important.
    - Able to contribute in problem resolution that results in changes/enhancement to the system offered.

    Project Admin / Doc Controller

    Responsibilities

    Performs day to day administrative functions for the project team. Prepares and files confidential document as instructed by the Project Manager.

     

    Main Tasks

    Scans, files, and input all documentation into SAP, Sharepoint and paper filing systems as required by procedure.
    Ensures via auditing with QA engineer that all departments are adhering to the company document control policy.
    Receives Electronic Service/Work order packs from Planners, prints and assembles books for turnover to Workshop supervisor.
    Manages the FMC Sharepoint sites, which entails managing, maintance, granting user access and general upkeep of the site.
    Maintains records and ensures their current revision status, prepares various forms using applicable standard format and procedures, verifies information and resolves document problems.
    Handles confidential or sensitive information or issues as may be made available by appropriate personnel.
    Upload all daily reports from the Rig into the appropriate SharePoint page
    Liaise with the QA Engr. in maintaining the Master list of Procedures and any other duty as may be assigned by the QA Engr.
    Maintains spreadsheets of scanned and uploaded work packs. Regularly develops original spreadsheets, databases and reports. Suggests improvements to increase efficiency and improve communication of departmental documentation handling.
    Assists department staff in developing and preparing, metrics used to measure their performance in their job function.
    Maintains efficient paper and electronic filing system and ensures quick retrieval of requested documents both on SAP, Sharepoint and hard drives.
    Keeps abreast of latest trends and technology related to administrative functions. Identifies and suggests ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
    Performs project document control activities such as transmittal of documentation, change notifications, engineering technical routing, and revision processing
    Enters data into manual and or electronic document management systems. Ensuring data integrity by verifying input and maintaining data in accordance with both FMC internal and customer requirements.
    Coordinates receipt , process, control, distribute and maintain project related documentation
