Job Description

• The ideal candidate will lead the activities of the maintenance team to ensure that the company's site and equipment are available, ready and safe at all times. He will oversee the repairs and upkeep of all trucks, vehicles and equipment.

Job Duties

• Ensure the availability and use of the right tools and equipment in the maintenance workshop
• Establish safe procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance repair work of the company
• prioritize and assign scheduled work to subordinates to meet company deadlines and customer needs
• Ensure the quality of work (maintenance or repairs) done on all vehicles and/or client’s fleet are top notch.
• Ensure proper updating of all maintenance records.
• Ensure all available technicians can identify faults with precision.
• Monitor and analyze repair costs, resource consumption and provide recommendations on resource/work tools utilization and replacements
• Assist in the development of maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, cost and other metrics.
• Prepare and submit regular (daily, weekly and monthly) maintenance/repair reports and parts usage for management appraisal.

Qualifications / Job Specific Competencies

• Technical Training / WASSCE / HND qualification
• 6 - 8 years relevant experience Logistics/Maintenance of truck is an added advantage
• Fluent English language speaking and writing proficiency
• Excellent communication
• Good planning and stress management skills
• Ability to work independently and execute task effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft office skills word Excel for reporting is a plus.

Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanics to maintain and repair vehicles.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
• He is required to have a good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

Requirements

• HND is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Excellent physical condition
• Valid certification is a definite plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect automotive vehicles to ensure compliance to emission standards and governmental regulations.

• The Vehicle Parts Storekeeper will oversee the replacement parts inventory for the company, maintain orderly storage areas and accurate records, and communicate the need to purchase required parts and assemblies in a timely manner.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepares and oversees the parts catalog system and maintain a running inventory of regular and special-order parts and supplies.
• Dispenses parts to service mechanics.
• Identifies optimum sources for replacement parts and assemblies.
• Purchases standard items.
• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for correct quantity and quality of materials.
• Processes invoices for payments and maintains proper records.

Education and Experience

• WASSCE / HND or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in an automotive or truck parts warehouse, repair centre, dealership, or similar facility highly preferred.
