Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

• Assist in field and screen house planting for regeneration and virus indexing;
• Assist in herbicide and insecticide application;
• Assist in data collection on characterization for screen house and field regeneration and multiplication activities;
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

Qualification:

• O’ Level with minimum of two (2) years working experience in a similar role.

Skills and Competencies:

• Experience in inventory updating and seed bank activities.
• Must be computer literate
• Have good sense of cleanliness, safety and security precautions

• Assist in seed cleaning and sorting from cold stores for germination and viability tests;
• Participate in seed viability test and packaging for distribution;
• Assist in entering and updating seed processing data file on a daily basis;
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned;
