    Transmission Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Configuration Management and implementation of the plan provided by planning team
    • Implement planned and operational activities, like MW and Transmission expansions, MW rerouting, Integration of new node integration in the network
    • Daily health check performance and analysis, report immediately in case of any ambiguity
    • Check the Network Utilization on daily basis and then suggest advise to planning or any responsible person
    • Responsible to maintain all network & individual NEs KPI to agreed value
    • Ensure Trouble ticket management, Fault diagnosis, Remote fault resolution, and control
    • Ensure monitoring of the nodes for any system critical/Major alarms on daily basis and perform activity to minimize the occurrence
    • Responsible to train & Share experience to all other BO, FO and FME engineers for their development
    • Responsible for proper coordination with all other MS department to ensure network working smoothly with transmission
    • Provide Remote support to all FMs team if required and login when necessary.
    • He must be a team player in all issue and must coordinate directly with other MS dept till the issue get resolved
    • Committed to ensuring that all issue are resolve within agreed SLA but Ensure and escalate the trouble ticket to next level or raise CSR support to Vendor if issue is beyond him and can’t be resolved within agreed time and follow up.
    • Involved in the planning and development of new Projects.
    • Ready to achieve his own set of objectives by demonstrating skillful capabilities in the field of transmission.
    • Prepare written reports and other technical documentation to communicate ideas, concepts and details necessary to accomplish specific goals.
    • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
    • Perform, or assist in taking parts inventory in case of any audit purposes
    • Be ready to support & work Outside working hours.
    • Must attend all network transmission faults are attended to within the network 24X7.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree with 4 - 8 years experience
    • Familiar with transmission equipment of Huawei (RTN 600/900 Series) &
    • (OSN 1500,2500,3500,7500) (ATM, SDH, DWDM), 3rd line, Tx, Huawei, Virgin Media, BT, Optic, optical network, OSN, 3500, 6800, 8800, NOC, Network Operations Centre, U2020, NCE
    • Familiar with other vendors transmissions equipment (NERA evolution) &(NEC pasolink)
    • Having good knowledge of SDH & PDH and DWDM concepts.
    • Fully understand the O&M environment & Requirement and available NOC tools.

    Subsea Operations Supervisor

    Dimensions of the Service

    • The Subsea Operations Supervisor’s role covers support for drilling/completions, Engineering Construction and Projects (ECP) and Field Operations departments in OML 130 Field (Akpo and EGINA developments). He is the key focal point and company representative in the Onne site for all subsea operations.

    SPS Package Scope Includes:

    • Engineering, procurement, fabrication, and delivery of WHs, XTs, IWOCS for up to 2 rig operations, production/water injection jumpers, manifolds, and foundations, UTAs, SDUs, UTHs, connectors for FLETs, spools and RBSs, top side control system, associated ROV and ROT tooling 2- Services to D/C, ECP & Field Operations for Life of Field

    Activities HSE:

    • Fully comply with security rules when travelling in NIGERIA both onshore and offshore locations
    • Attend monthly HSE site meeting.
    • Comply with site security, health, and safety instructions and to stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
    • Report any issue/anomalies (using system in place in the facility) and to make use of company’s Stop work policy as necessary.
    • Perform HSE tour in the facility.
    • Perform HSE tour when visiting other facilities.
    • Ensure that relevant company’s 12 golden rules for the site are adhered to.
    • Ensure procedures are followed and personnel is trained as required.
    • Ensure tools/facilities are maintained in good conditions.
    • Ensure toolbox talks are conducted efficiently.
    • Ensure risk assessments are performed as and when necessary.
    • Ensure management of change is followed.
    • Ensure subordinates comply with /implement all above bullet points.
    • Be champion on site for ‘’PERFECT day’’.

    Work Tasks:
    With regards to Engineering, Construction & Project Management:

    • Responsible of deliveries at ONNE workshop in line with COMPANY specifications (and agreed amendments) with regards to quality of work
    • Scope of work includes WHs, XTs, THs build, FAT, HFT execution

    Service Description:

    • To monitor that all sites’ fabrications procedures and inspection/test plans (pre-fabrication, fabrication, welding, NDT, erection, assembly, painting, lifting, testing, load out and sea fastening…) are in place in advance of the planned operations (includes repair operations)
    • To ensure RCA is conducted when an unplanned event occurs with risks to personnel and/or equipment.
    • To ensure that subcontractor’s tools and facility are maintained in an operational status and in necessary quantities for the work scope contemplated.
    • To monitor subcontractor activities and manpower allocation
    • To propose alternatives as necessary to minimize delays in deliveries optimize/rectify work.
    • To monitor status of delivery of imported items (KPI and consumables) to minimize delays in deliveries.
    • To ensure subcontractor and contractor mobilize on time specialists and 3rd parties (testing, thermal insulation, routing of electrical and optical harnesses…)
    • To benchmark and challenge subcontractor schedule.
    • To ensure quality control documentation is adequate and verified (contractor and COMPANY)

    With Regards to the Services to be Performed at the Base:

    • Responsible of delivery of equipment and contractor service personnel for D/C, ECP activities and Field operations for Life of Field
    • Scope of work includes WH, XT, TH tooling, IWOCS, and associated ROT and ROV tools
    • To ensure all equipment are tracked with correct status logged (On the base, CC or under CC, SRT, offshore)
    • To ensure Service Order are in place (with support from Contract Engineer for the contractual part), to initiate, follow up completion of the work and close out for invoicing by contractor.
    • To ensure contractor maintenance program is operational and to follow up maintenance/repair operations as required by D/C or UFR operations and during storage.
    • To ensure that equipment is maintained in good running order (operability, certification, color coding, protections…)
    • To ensure lifting and load out activities are correctly planned and managed.
    • To ensure equipment is mobilized on time for D/C, ECP & Field operations (To liaise with offshore supervisor)
    • To ensure spare parts are available and dispatched to D/C, ECP & Field operations
    • To ensure quality control documentation are adequate and verified (contractor and COMPANY)
    • Follow-up operational technical incidents offshore/onshore, FNCRs raised by the contractor and potentially subject to warranty claims.
    • To participate to site technical and progress meetings on a weekly basis

    General:

    • To report to OML130 Subsea Manager (weekly basis)
    • To participate in COMPANY and contractor audits and follow up closure of identified issues.
    • To work closely with all other COMPANY team members and contractor counterparts to ensure correct information is transmitted and fully aligned.
    • To maintain a good and respectful working attitude and good team spirit

    Job Requirements

    • Education: Technical Engineering Degree
    • Overall experience: 10 years in Oil & Gas industry
    • Technical experience: 5 years on Oil & Gas projects
    • Expertise: Subsea Engineering, contract/commercial execution, fabrication processes and rig/vessel (offshore) installation techniques
