    Tender Manager

    Position Summary

    • The company Ponticelli Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Ponticelli Frères Group, is recruiting as part of its projects to lead and oversee large-scale industrial construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

    • We invite you to join us on a project-based contract. The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
    • Playing a key role in delivering profitable project opportunities, with regard to PNL projects, the Tender Manager (M/F) will be responsible for costing, preparing budgets, preparing bids and providing clarifications until the award.
    • The Tender Manager will be familiar with the general specifications and requirements of Oil&Gas EPC and Offshore projects.
    • He will always be mindful of, and never compromise, our Health, Safety and Quality values and procedures.

    The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:

    • Examine tender documentation, including operational provisions, technical specifications, and commercial requirements
    • Liaise with suppliers, partners and all internal departments involved in the tendering process and define respective deliverables
    • Define/propose technical solutions, methodologies, execution strategy and draft work schedules
    • Perform cost calculations and project budgeting
    • Prepare and submit the technical and commercial proposals, according to client requirements and company’s guidelines
    • Liaise and attend meetings with the client throughout the entire bid cycle
    • produce reports and maintain complete records throughout the bidding process to ensure approval, traceability, and ultimately efficient handover to project teams
    • Be involve in business development activities from time to time e.g. social media marketing activities, or conference and trade show attendance
    • Manage relationships with Customers, on the tender clarification stages
    • Manage the tender strategy to meet Customer requirements
    • Prepare, Issue and follow-up tenders, pricing/cost spreadsheet and clarification with related documentation management and filing/archiving;
    • Proper distribution/collection of documents during Preparation/ review/Negotiation of Tenders
    • Ensure that per each tender, a Peer Review is properly carried out
    • Liaising with the Technical, Contract and Procurement Dept. for advice on 
    • Method statement and technical solutions
    • Services/Subcontractors’ selection and management until the finalisation of the agreement;
    • Liaise with the Planning & Risk Manager for Tender Risks.

    Profile Wanted

    • You have a mechanical engineer degree or a similar degree.
    • You have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role as tender, bid or proposal engineer in an Oil&Gas EPC company.
    • You have excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in English.

    Project Manager

    • We invite you to join us on a technical support contract. The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
    • The Project Manager (M/F) will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

    The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:

    • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to handover;
    • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with client requirements and company objectives;
    • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and HSE;
    • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards;
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans;
    • Identify and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans as needed;
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders;
    • Provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and performance to senior management;
    • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards;
    • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE compliance at all project sites.

    Profile Wanted

    • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 8–10 years experience of project management experience in the Oil & Gas or industrial construction sector.
    • You have solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations and practices.
    • You are willing to travel and work on-site across project locations in Nigeria.
    • You have a proven experience in managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
    • You have a strong leadership and team management skills. Also an excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • You are recognised for your proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
    • PMP or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
    • Professional English is mandatory.
