Job Summary

The Technical Design Manager will oversee the full Design, Fabrication and Integration process for armored vehicles and Resource Management - (budgets, tools, processes, and project support): Implements resource management strategy. Manages engineering resources for multi discipline teams. He will evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, mechatronics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;

• To oversee the full Design and creation of engineering fabrication drawings, Bill of Materials, installation drawings, third party manufacturing drawings, vehicle structural layout drawings, 3D models, to support development, execution and completion of projects.
• Generation of cut patterns and CNC codes for sheet metal cutting process using CAMWorks and FastCAM software respectively
• To support the growth of the companies armoured vehicle portfolio, working with members of the Senior Management Team and contribute to the strategic direction of the business
• To represent the company in technical presentations, bids and negotiations with customers and suppliers
• Effective leadership and management of Design and Mechanical Engineers to achieve agreed engineering goals
• To contribute solutions to engineering issues and problems requiring significant judgement and technical expertise, along with providing related guidance and direction to others
• Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
• Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements
• Independently applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis problems and methods, coordinating multiple discipline activity
• Typically supports multiple projects on complex technical challenges
• To provide technical advice and work with those involved in the preparation of bids
• To support and promote our engineering capability in the marketplace with both existing and new clients assisting with business development
• To develop effective engineering processes and standards and support the need to meet statutory and industry requirements
• Any other function as may be assigned by the Head of Operations or GMD

Qualifications / Experience

• First bachelor’s degree/HND Mechanical Engineering or related field
• A Master’s degree or an MBA will be added advantage
• Proficient in the use of Solid Works, AutoCAD with relevant certifications
• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in an automobile industry with expertise in Technical Design
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

Job Summary

• The mechanic will perform diagnostic tests on vehicles, and complete inspection, maintenance and repairs on light vehicles, trucks, trailers, forklifts, pickups, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
• As technicians, you will keep track of important system components such as diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, and steering systems.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests on vehicles.

Job Summary

• The Auto AC Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair, and service of automotive cooling air conditioning systems. He is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing Automobile HVAC systems.
• He will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. He will guide and advise the customer in selecting the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements.
• He will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing automobile ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnose automotive air conditioning system to ascertain the need.
• Listen to customers’/vehicle owners on the service require and the malfunction history of the vehicle’s cooling system.
• Install and repair the air conditioning unit.
• Fix and correct any fault in compressor and evaporator sub-units.
• Weld or bolt mounting bracket to automobile frame.
• Measure compressor pressure to determine efficiency of compressor using gauge.
• Remove and replace worn out or broken parts.

• The Automobile Electrician will be mainly involved in installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for automotive machinery

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the repair of electrical and electronic faults in cars and motor vehicles. This may include replacing damaged or faulty parts where necessary

JOB SUMMARY

The Machine Operator will oversee all computer numeric controlled (CNC), bending and drilling machines. He will be responsible for ensuring company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and client standards.

As the machine operator, the successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. In order to excel in this role, you will also have to possess in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques emerging in the industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
• Handling the production of required parts on the bending and drilling machines
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
