    ICT/Computer Hardware & GSM Repair Teacher

    We are seeking a competent, innovative, and student-focused ICT / Computer Hardware & GSM Repair Teacher to join our secondary school team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching ICT and practical technical skills to students while fostering creativity, discipline, and hands-on learning.

    The successful candidate will teach ICT and basic computer engineering concepts, including computer hardware maintenance and GSM/mobile phone repairs, in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. The teacher will also guide students in developing practical digital and technical skills relevant to modern technology and entrepreneurship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct classroom and practical teaching activities in line with approved schemes of work, lesson plans, and school policies.
    • Teach ICT, computer appreciation, computer hardware maintenance, and basic GSM/mobile phone repair skills to secondary school students.
    • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, classwork, practical exercises, assignments, and assessments.
    • Demonstrate practical skills in computer assembly, troubleshooting, software installation, and device maintenance.
    • Introduce students to mobile phone diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, and safe handling of repair tools.
    • Monitor students’ academic and practical performance and provide appropriate feedback and support.
    • Identify students with learning challenges and provide remedial assistance where necessary.
    • Maintain discipline and promote a positive learning environment in classrooms and practical laboratories.
    • Supervise students during practical sessions and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
    • Maintain proper records of lesson delivery, attendance, assessments, and students’ progress.
    • Ensure proper care and maintenance of ICT laboratory equipment, tools, and devices.
    • Participate in staff meetings, school programs, trainings, and extracurricular activities as required.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND, or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
    • TRCN certification and education qualification.
    • Practical certification or experience in GSM/mobile phone repairs and computer hardware maintenance is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a secondary school or technical training environment.
    • Good knowledge of ICT, computer systems, troubleshooting, and mobile device repairs.
    • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for teaching teenagers and mentoring students.

    Preferred Skills

    • Ability to combine theory with practical teaching methods.
    • Basic networking and software installation knowledge.
    • Creativity in teaching ICT and technical subjects.
    • Ability to use digital teaching tools and modern instructional methods.

    Mathematics Teacher

    We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher in our primary school to deliver high-quality instruction and inspire students to develop strong numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
