Job Overview

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education/Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
• Experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Experience preparing students for relevant internal and external examinations.
• Ability to make Mathematics practical, engaging and relatable to students.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and digital literacy skills.

• We are seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated and experienced Qur'an Memorization Teacher to join our school team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students through structured Qur'an memorization, revision and recitation, ensuring correct pronunciation and application of Tajweed rules, monitoring students' memorization progress and fostering a disciplined and spiritually enriching learning environment.

Requirements

• A strong command of the Qur'an and excellent memorization (Hifz) skills.
• Formal Islamic education or certification in Qur'anic studies is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Qur'an memorization with Tajweed.
• Demonstrable ability to teach students of different ages and learning abilities.
• Ability to identify and correct students' recitation and memorization errors.
• Patience, discipline and a nurturing approach to teaching children and young learners.
