Responsibilities:

• Preparation and Review of Withholding Tax (WHT), Value Added Tax (VAT), NCD and all other statutory deductions filed at the Tax Office
• Assist/provide support to the Team on annual income tax and transfer pricing reviews and filings.
• Assist/provide support to the Team during periodic tax audits, reviews, and other related exercises carried out by the tax authorities
• Provide support to the Team on internal tax accounting tasks as well as internal company tax reporting tasks
• Provide support to the Team on tax projects any other related tax and regulatory matters

Academic Qualifications and Experience

• Candidate MUST be a graduate of a tertiary institution with a Degree in any accounting, finance and social sciences related discipline
• Candidate MUST have at least 3-5 years work experience working in the Tax department of a multinational Oil & Gas servicing company
• Candidate MUST be conversant with the application and use of the FIRS TaxProMax portal
• Added advantage would be having a professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA or its equivalent)

Job Description:

• Under broad direction, leads a group of Procurement professionals and plans sourcing to support manufacturing’s, field operation’s or project management’s strategic plans.
• Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Directs the creation of request for quotations (RFQ) and competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services.
• Responsible for approving the selection and qualification of suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management.
• Develops strategies to improve supplier performance for spend not under regional or global Category Management.
• Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
• Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of experience or equivalent industry experience in lieu of education.
• Advanced procurement certification is preferred.
