About the Role:

• We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team on a temporary two-month contract.
• This role involves organizing our accounting books, managing tax compliance, and ensuring all necessary documents are submitted accurately and on time.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax and VAT laws specific to Rivers State and Nigeria, and be adept at working with Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Review and organize financial records for tax preparation and compliance.
• Ensure accurate filing of tax and VAT documents in line with Nigerian and Rivers State laws.
• Prepare and submit all required documentation efficiently and within deadlines.
• Provide guidance on tax structuring to optimize compliance and financial accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documents.

Requirements:

• Location: Based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
• Experience: Strong background in Nigerian tax law, VAT regulations, and general accounting practices.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to work quickly, and deliver accurate results.
• Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the next two months.

• We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Consultant with experience in digital or creative agencies to organize and structure our operations. This role involves evaluating our current processes, providing recommendations for efficiency, and creating structured documentation. You’ll work closely with our founder to set up effective workflows, establish staff roles, and guide future hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agency Structuring: Assess the current structure of Bave Design Studio and develop a plan to optimize our workflows, project management, and client engagement processes.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) across various functions, including project management, client onboarding, design, and development.
• Staff Setup and Role Definition: Evaluate current staff roles, make recommendations for role adjustments or new hires, and assist in setting up teams to meet operational goals.
• Hiring and Onboarding Support: Define key hiring needs, assist in the hiring process, and create onboarding documents to ensure new team members integrate smoothly.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement, suggest new tools or technologies for productivity, and implement best practices for a streamlined workflow.
• Strategic Guidance: Offer insights on agency growth, client relationship management, and operational scaling to support long-term business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in structuring or consulting for digital/creative agencies, preferably in web design or marketing.
• Strong understanding of project management tools and CRM systems; experience with WordPress and agency-focused tools is a plus.
• Ability to create detailed documentation, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current operations and make data-driven recommendations.
