Responsibilities

• Providing leadership on all aspects of the supply chain function and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create effective supply chain management strategies that meet customer needs.
• Planning, implementing and controlling the operations of the supply chain from point-of-origin to point-of-consumption.
• Driving profitability and productivity across demand planning, supply planning as well as new product planning processes as required.
• Ensuring effectiveness of inventory management, capacity management, supply chain processes and systems.
• Identifying and analysing risks affecting supply, delivery and customer demand and developing strategies to mitigate these.
• Driving strategic supply chain enhancements/ projects to drive optimal manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's Degree
• You have at least 5 years’ experience including solid experience in a similar role within Consumer.
• You possess good knowledge of tax and process regulations with respect the import and export of products.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You are willing to undertake more than 60% travel.

Job Description

• Our ideal candidate is preferably a candidate with a background in logistics and supply chain. You should be able to manage drivers.
• Ultimately, ensure assigned drivers are present for delivery on time and proper reconciliation of account after each trip.
• As a logistics supervisor, you ensure end-to-end distribution of FMCG products. She/he will require excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as demonstrate sound decision-making ability.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Planning all aspects of logistics operations including inbound/outbound logistics through road shipping clearance, insurance related to company and logistics operations.
• Managing relationships with logistics service providers for transportation for both inbound and outbound operations.
• Coordinating with warehouse divisions to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Managing 3rd-party logistics service provider relationships effectively and driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives for warehousing and delivery operations.
• Acting as the focal point amongst customers, sales and manufacturing for orders received.
• Conducting order reviews, processing orders and verifying data and following up on deliveries.

Job Description

• The Warehouse Officer is critical to the success of our warehouse operations. This involves receiving inventory supply, maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipping inventory for daily fulfilment of our retail customers’ orders

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory and maintaining inventory in the assigned warehouse or distribution center
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure there is no over-stocking or out-of-stock of inventory
• Maintain the storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
• Ensure that all loading/offloading of the delivery vans are done effectively and on time with zero damage to the inventory
• Accurate and timely order processing and order shipping at the warehouse or distribution center
• Maintain safety and security standards in the warehouse or distribution center
• Ensure detailed and accurate records are maintained

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ work experience as a Warehouse Officer or Warehouse Assistant preferably in the FMCG industry
• Expertise in warehouse operations
• Experience using Inventory management software.
• Team building and management skills.
• Demonstrate warehousing operation expertise.
• Numerical skills and computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail.
