Key Responsibilities   

• Based in Nigeria, the company provides several market leading consumer FinTech products (peer to peer payments, spend management, etc) to users in Nigeria.
• They are expanding their leadership team and are looking to bring on more than one Senior Product professional, (either as Head of Product or Principal PM, skillset depending) who will help establish and lead
• A world class Product Management team.
• Manage the overall product stream from end to end, leading a team of product & design working in squad Formation.
• Reports to CEO and work closely with COO.
• Hire and mentor juniors in the Product organization.
• Establish and lead the product vision, helping develop innovative FinTech products from scratch and launching across the Nigerian user Base.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements  

• Bachelor’s in business management, Management Sciences, Project Management, Management or Computer Science.
• Master’s in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification.
• At least 5 years' experience with a strong focus on software product management
• Experience in either B2B or B2C products (the role is flexible based on the candidate)
• Prior experience mentoring or hiring PMs
• Proven track record managing a product through several iterations / lifecycles
• Prior experience in FinTech products, and knowledge of Nigerian markets would both be a strong plus, but not a need
• Ability to work in a flexible, fast paced start up environment
• General Managers, Directors and above and those that are from Fintech, Banks, Technology start-ups are advised to apply

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Project Management or Computer Science.
• Master’s in Business Administration
• Should have professional certification in Accounting or Finance.
• Should have up to 6+ years experience in the managerial level.
• Fintech/Payment domain experience would be preferred

Requirements:

• Ability to coordinate the Finance Department with the required resources;
• Ability to report to the Board of Directors;
• Ability to deliver on the required KPI and ensure error-free job roll-out;
• Understand how Fintech works and plug all loopholes in the system;
