    Security Officer

    Job Description

    • Securing and safeguarding life and properties within assigned premises / location
    • Keeping daily logs of activities and any issues addressed.
    • Patrolling the building perimeter and premises.
    • Noting the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals.
    • Directing visitors to reception and logging their entry to the premises.
    • Monitoring our video surveillance system and reviewing footage if necessary.
    • Responding to alarms and calls of security concern.
    • Answering phones and responding to other inquiries at the security desk.
    • Alerting authorities if needed for emergencies or security breaches.
    • Addressing any infractions of building rules and/or forwarding them to the appropriate level of management
    • Inspecting, testing, and maintaining our security system as well as calling for maintenance as needed.

    Qualification

    • Candidate must have complete SSCE education or equivalent.
    • Must have 3 - 5 years of security experience.
    • Physically fit and mentally Stable.
    • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
    • Must be above 18 years of age.
    • Must be able to work a variable shift schedule including night shifts.
    • Must be able to express him/her self in English.

    Pharmacy Technician

    Job Description

    • Taking proper stock and audit of drugs in the pharmacy.
    • Dispensing of drugs for inpatients and out patients.
    • Filling and labelling of medical containers.
    • Proper dispensing of all medications.
    • Checking of all prescriptions for errors, ensuring they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
    • Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, which could be by tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler.
    • Maintaining of sufficient stock of all needed medications.
    • Detailing of medicines to doctors, nurses, interns etc.
    • Being in charge of requisition of all medicines.
    • Checking the quality and the sources of drugs before dispensing.
    • To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
    • To ensure and adhere to standard pharmacy safety measures and checks.
    • Involved with scientific meetings in the department.

    Key Result Area (KRA)

    • Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
    • Receive prescription or refill request from patients and verify that information is complete and accurate.
    • Deliver appropriate medications and pharmaceutical supplies in the right quantity to patients, nursing stations or surgery.
    • Verify prescription information and dosage.
    • Prepare the prescription labels, select the type of prescription container, and affix the prescription and auxiliary labels to the container.
    • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, ensuring First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt and removing outdated drugs.
    • Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer.
    • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform pharmacist of stock needs and shortages

    Requirements

    • Minimum academic qualification of Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
    • 1 to 3 years relevant work experience.
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
    • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
    • Current practicing license or proof of payment.
    • Ability to process prescriptions electronically.

    Salary
    N70,000 - N150,000 / Month.
