Job Summary:

The Security Officer at the CNG Station will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, personnel, and operations. This role involves monitoring the premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to any security incidents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the CNG Station to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to staff and visitors regarding safety practices.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions.

Key Requirements:

•  OND,HND, SSCE or equivalent education.
• Previous experience in security or related fields is preferred.
• Basic understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Manning of beats
• Access control of staff, visitors and customers entering into the company and the three housing estates.
• Enforcement of company rules and regulations.
• Reporting to supervisors on daily basis issues concerning security
• Conduct daily patrol of beats to ascertain the security situations
• Proper handing and taking over of beats.
• Protection of life and properties of the company.
• Ensure implementation of:
  • NIS ISO 14001 : 2015 EMS
  • NIS ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS
  • NIS ISO 14001 : 2018 OHSMS

Requirements

• Primary School Certificate (Preferably WASC/SSCE/GCE) + 10 years’ experience in industrial security/Government Intelligence Agencies/Armed Forces.
• Effective communication.
• Good interpersonal relationship.
• Ability to work under pressure.
