Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of sales experience (telecommunications/ISP experience is an added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, terminate, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and related equipment.
• Carry out FTTH installations, activations, and customer migrations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fiber faults, outages, and connectivity issues within agreed SLAs.
• Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Light Source, VFL, and other testing equipment.
• Interpret fiber network diagrams, splice schematics, and route plans.
• Perform fiber cable jointing, ODF termination, and patch panel management.
• Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and documentation of all installations.
• Respond promptly to network faults and emergency maintenance activities.
• Prepare and submit installation, maintenance, and fault resolution reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during field operations.
• Coordinate with the NOC, Project, and Customer Support teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, and company assets in good working condition.
• Provide technical support during network expansion and upgrade projects.
• Train and guide junior engineers or technicians where required.
