    QHSE Officer - Fire

    Job Description

    • Ensures scheduled inspections of fire equipment are carried out and defect duly reported to avoid failure in an emergency.
    • Assists to ensure services required for safe production are provided timely.
    • Takes part in the installation, refilling and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
    • Drives and operates fire trucks.
    • Ensures all emergency equipment are inspected, tested and operated in accordance with the SOP.
    • Actively participates in all emergency drills.
    • Takes part in standby duties on entry permit to vessel, ammonia loading and hot work operations.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of HND in related courses in Science, Technology or Engineering field.
    • Minimum of 2 years as a Fire Officer.
    • Level 2 Certificate of Institution of Fire Engineers.
    • Basic fire training certificate from a recognized Fire Service, Professional member of Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria. (ISPON).
    • Professional Class "E" Driver's License.
    • Ability to drive and operate modern fire engines.
    • Must be good on the use of self-contained breathing apparatus, airline and long line.

    Account Officer - International Trade Operations

    Responsibilities

    • Collates all commercial and regulatory documents required by the company for the processing of an import and export transaction through the Nigerian banking system.
    • Ensures that the import/export transaction documents are complete, compliant, and delivered timely to the relevant bank, in accordance with the regulatory requirements and in line with the terms and conditions of the transaction.
    • Interfaces with our bankers on mallers relating to the processing of international trade fransactions.
    • Liaises with foreign trade counterparties on behalf of the company on matters relating to the establishment and close-out of LCS.
    • Maintains and manages the Export Expansion Grant Accounts
    • Collates all documentation relating to Export Expansion Grant application and manages the application process in liaison with Government Relations Department

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree (minimum of Second class Upper Division) or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from a reputable Institution
    • 5 years working experience in a similor role, preferably in manufacturing,
    • industrial or banking environment.
    • Experience with ERP software required
    • Professional accounting qualification (eg.. ACA, ACCA) is an added Advantage.
