    Purchase Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are a leading player in the building materials and ceramics manufacturing sector, committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. 
    • We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Ajaokuta Factory.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Having Fair knowledge of the various inventory items used in the manufacturing process.
    • Exposure to OEM, and suppliers of relevant goods.
    • Have played tecno commercial role, with the analytical ability to work on re-order levels.
    • To engage with cross functions and ensure agreed lead time and cycle time is maintained.
    • Capability to look at alternatives and innovate to drive cost-efficiency solutions.
    • Engage with suppliers to ensure commitment dates are met.
    • Engage with internal customers to move PR to PO to receipt.
    • Ensure technical specs and quality parameters are met.
    • To ensure supplier relationship is maintained.
    • To ensure supplier audits are done to maintain standards.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing / procurement environment
    • Strong computer skills
    • Analytical mindset with a techno-commercial approach
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives/strategic sourcing.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
    • Experience in managing and developing procurement teams.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

    Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    • Our client is looking for a forward-thinking person to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively being responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the assigned territory.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for identifying business growth and signing new disributors
    • Assess opportunities and drive new product introduction offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets

    Requirements

    • BS.c Degree in any discipline
    • Experience in the Cosmetics industry.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a sales role, achieving sales targets
    • Previous experience in the cosmeticsindustry would be an advantage

    Experience and skills:

    • Willing to travel daily (locally)
    • Commercial awareness – ability to identify opportunities and act on it
    • Operating in business to business environment
    • Broader understanding of economic drivers preferred
    • Success at selling new concepts and products
    • Ownership of and engagement with continuous self development
    • Proven technical competence – understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate for commercial benefit
    • Thorough knowledge of business process (forecasting, sales reports, presentation skills, supply chain)
    • Experience in market research (market trends, competition) for the annual budget process
    • Previous experience in working in accordance with Sales Policies, procedure and internal control measures.
    • Experience in Key Accounts, Distribution and Project sales
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Assertive, well spoken with good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good planning and organisational skills
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Resilient, able to work under pressure, dealing effectively with high stress situations.
