    Project Manager

    The position:

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort providing direct (virtual and in-person) self-management support services to different cohorts of members. Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members. Providing optimal member-centred care and experience is of critical importance to mDoc so we are looking for people who embody this in mind and action. You must be data-driven or willing to be data-driven.
    • Given we are a technology firm; you will use digital tools to work plan, manage projects track, predict our success as well as manage our members and customers. Also, given mDoc is a startup, there will likely be some fluidity to responsibilities.

    The Project Manager will:

    • Assist in implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plan and work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of the KPIs.
    • Use Jira and other technology tools to proactively manage the team’s complex plans
    • Lead the daily huddles with the clinical and management team
    • Prepare administrative documents, collect and compile inputs to documents
    • Collect, compile, and organise background materials, documents and other materials for meetings
    • Performs reporting as needed; compiles data, and generates reports and decks as needed
    • Create monthly plans for virtual training needs and plan for resource
    • Initiates meetings with stakeholders and team, prepares communication to summarize discussions and action items in meetings - internal and client meetings.
    • Manage logistics with external partners and stakeholders for tele-education programs and other efforts.
    • Document meeting discussions and decisions into meeting minutes and follow up on post-meeting action items as designated during project meetings.
    • Conduct reviews of projects for action items and recommend solutions.
    • Provide general assistance to the program and project team(s) as needed.
    • Distribute communications related to program and project plan activities.
    • Schedule meetings for program and project plan activities.
    • Compile and publish weekly project status reports for leadership and project sponsors, project teams and other key project stakeholders. Travels as needed to oversee the project and meet with external and internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate and problem solve cross-functionally.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree or MBBS with 5-7 years experience.
    • Interest or experience in health preferred.
    • Excellent problem solving, communication and "person-centered" skills
    • High level of organizational management capability and prioritization as well as the ability to break the ‘big picture’ into step wise different pieces.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective and healthy working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
    • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary
    • Demonstrates ability to work with confidential and sensitive data.

    Clinical Psychologist (Emotional Wellness Coach)

    The position:

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort providing direct (virtual and in-person) self-management support services to members, who face challenges with chronic health needs such as diabetes and hypertension via our innovative self-management model. You will be associated with our first self-management “hub”. Your work will frequently be hub and field-based, extending out in the surrounding neighborhood and community but there will also be a large virtual component as well. You will be expected to follow evidence-based guidelines for care while contextualizing to the needs of the members. The Health Coach will be responsible for members/ individuals and will work in collaboration with other members of a virtual team to help them meet their wellness and health needs. You will be expected to respond to them asynchronously for the most part as well as setting up brief one on one synchronous chats. The health coaches work with individuals and encourages them to take a lead role in their wellness by providing them with tools and support to make the right kinds of lifestyle modifications. Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members. Providing optimal member-centred care and experience is of critical importance to mDoc so we are looking for people who embody this in mind and action. You must be data-driven or willing to be data-driven such that you are looking constantly at your member needs, responding to them and also looking at population level data and coming up with ideas on how to drive continued engagement and adherence. We are looking for risk-takers with a LOT of initiative who are willing to learn and grow with and add value to a startup company that wants to help people improve their health and wellness. You must be someone who is comfortable with technology, working remotely and supporting your groups of individuals remotely as well as in person. You must be responsive to their needs and willing to be adaptive.

    The Health Coach will:

    • Provide support, lifestyle education and guidance to participants virtually and in-person and addressing their queries as well as motivating them.
    • Work with the operations and clinical team to understand population level data and make adjustments to the evidence-based curriculum.
    • Community engagement and mobilization through a multitude of methods
    • Work with community-based partners on shared initiatives
    • Research and compile needed clinical resources.
    • Support marketing and sales initiatives as subject matter expert.
    • Review data constantly and provide feedback within expected time frames on improvements or support
    • Pay close attention to tracking disease markers
    • Be based in Abuja or in Lagos
    • Be required to use technology for a majority of the work
    • Cannot work anywhere else

    Requirements

    • Psychology degree required
    • Master’s degree or relevant qualification in social services or health-related field preferred (psychology, counseling, health education, etc.) preferred but not required
    • Expert knowledge of motivational interviewing, reflective listening, behavior change theory, and health psychology preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in health coaching, health promotion, chronic illness management or other clinical role preferred.

    Clinical Hub Ambassador - Registered Nurse

    The position:

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort providing direct (virtual and in person)
    • self-management support services to members via our innovative self-management model. You will be
    • expected to follow evidence-based guidelines for care while contextualizing to the needs of the members.
    • The Hub Ambassador will work in person 6 days a week including Saturdays (half day) and will be responsible for members/ individuals and will work in collaboration with other members of a virtual team to help them meet their wellness and health needs. The hub ambassadors work with individuals and navigate them through their care journey at our NudgeHubs while encouraging them to take a lead role in their wellness by providing them with tools and support to make the right kinds
    • of lifestyle modifications. Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members.

    Key Responsibilities

    Hub Management:

    • Oversee daily operations of the health hub, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Drive subscription uptake by members.
    • Coordinate health education sessions, screenings, and other health-related activities.
    • Ensure the hub is stocked with necessary supplies and educational materials.

    Community Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local leaders, and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct outreach activities to promote hub services and health education programs.
    • Collect and address feedback from community members to improve service delivery.

    Healthcare Delivery:

    • Provide primary healthcare services, including health assessments, basic treatments, and referrals.
    • Educate community members on self-care practices, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
    • Assist in the implementation of telehealth services and digital health tools.

    Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse or Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) required
    • Nursing/midwifery, psychology, counseling, health education, exercise science, nutrition and dietetics, etc. preferred but not required
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a registered nurse or CHEW in health promotion, chronic illness management preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to actively support, communicate, and teach the unique culture and values of mDoc
    • Technology savvy and enthusiastic adopter of work and personal tools. Must be comfortable with assisting others in using technology
    • Passion for improving health care experience, outcomes and costs
    • Interest in reviewing and responding to patient and population health data
    • Fluency in English required.
    • Strong communication and "person-centered" skills
    • Must be based in Lagos, ideally in Ikorodu
    • Must have your licensure and registration materials for validation or do not apply.
