Responsibilities

• Working closely with a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of fixed or wireless telecoms projects; ensuring that all resources are fully utilised and targets achieved
• Managing and coordinating a team of Engineers in project execution.
• Planning, Project Execution, Cost control, quality control, Material control, Client relationship management
• Ensuring that stakeholder management is prioritized and that communication is fluid across all stages of construction whilst managing clients' expectations
• Identify and coordinate priority and standard works whilst being mindful of potential issues that may affect timescales
• Improving customer satisfaction by evaluating the quality of work done and customer review
• Preparing reports on completed works including any escalations and KPI delivery reports
• Regularly liaising with customers to ensure that all completed works are recorded, logged and invoiced accordingly

Academic Qualifications

• Minimum of HND / University Degree in Engineering

Requirements:

• Previous coordination/management experience in fixed or wireless telecom projects is essential
• Good knowledge of the telecoms industry
• This position will involve working independently so you will need to be well organized, an excellent communicator, and confident in the workplace
• It is essential that you are able to prioritize rapidly changing workloads in a short space of time

Summary Description

• Perform site-specific engineering analysis or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial customers.
• Design solar domestic systems for new and existing structures, applying knowledge of structural energy requirements, local climates, solar technology.

Job Task Description

Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems:

• Collect data about project sites.
• Prepare detailed work plans.

Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings:

• Design alternative energy systems.

Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software:

• Create graphical representations of energy production systems.

Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.

• Evaluate plans or specifications to determine technological or environmental implications.
• Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.

Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.

• Determine design criteria or specifications.

Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.

• Provide technical guidance to other personnel.

Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.

• Create models of engineering designs or methods.

Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work.

• Determine operational methods.

Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.

• Inspect finished products to locate flaws.

Test or evaluate photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules.

• Test green technologies or processes.

Perform thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.

• Analyze green technology design requirements.
• Analyze costs and benefits of proposed designs or projects.

Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess an HND / University Degree in Engineering or Science

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in the delivery of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects or technical energy management
• Track record of project delivery from concept stage through to operation
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
