    Project Accountant

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Financial Compilation & Quality Assurance:Rigorously compile, verify, and conduct quality checks on all project receipts, invoices, and expense reports to guarantee 100% audit readiness.
    • Budget Management:Collate and manage the monthly project budget, track expenditures against project milestones, and conduct timely variance analysis.
    • Complex Financial Calculations:Calculate and prepare all project financials, with specific responsibility for the accurate preparation and processing of DEG call notices.
    • International Compliance & Reporting:Ensure all financial practices align strictly with international donor standards and IFRS, preparing comprehensive financial statements for management and stakeholders.
    • Risk & Forex Management:Monitor currency exchange impacts and manage financial risks associated with cross-border project operations and procurement.

    Required Qualifications & Competencies

    • Professional Certification: The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with an active ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) certification.
    • Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or higher in Accounting.
    • Relevant Experience: Proven track record in project accounting, particularly managing finances for large-scale international or donor-funded projects.
    • Technical & Software Skills: Deep understanding of IFRS and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) toolsfor financial data analysis, automation, and reporting.

    Inventory and Store Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Inventory Control & Tracking: Accurately track stock levels using ERP systems. Establish reorder points to avoid stockouts of critical ingredients and overstocking of perishables.
    • Quality & Safety Compliance: Implement FIFO and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) rotation systems to minimize spoilage. Ensure all storage areas meet HACCP, GMP, and local regulatory health codes.
    • Material Receiving & Dispatch: Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, temperature, and quantity before issuing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN). Manage the orderly release of raw materials to the production floor.
    • Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory stocktakes. Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies between physical and system balances.
    • Vendor & Supply Chain Collaboration: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely deliveries and build relationships with suppliers.
    • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse and store personnel, ensuring safety and productivity standards are met.

    Core Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Food Science, or Business Administration.
    • Certifications: Certifications like CPIM are highly valued.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in inventory management or warehouse management software (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of food-grade storage requirements (temperature control, pest management) and supply chain dynamics.

    Data Support Officer

    Core Responsibilities

    • Production Tracking: Record, track, and verify daily manufacturing metrics, including batch sizes, yield percentages, packaging counts, and equipment downtime.
    • Quality & Safety Assurance: Log data related to critical control points (CCPs), temperature logs, and sanitation checks to ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.
    • Inventory Management: Update Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and databases with raw material usage, ingredient stock levels, and finished goods inventory.
    • Reporting: Generate recurring performance dashboards and variance reports comparing actual production against the day's production schedule.

    General Manager / Operational Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet sales demands without causing bottlenecks.
    • Efficiency: Implement process optimization strategies to maximize yield, reduce shrink/waste, and minimize equipment downtime.
    • Continuous Improvement: Utilize frameworks like Lean Manufacturing to drive operational excellence.
    • Food Safety: Enforce rigorous hygiene, food handling, and food safety management standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) from raw material intake to finished goods.
    • Audits: Ensure the facility passes all government health codes and internal quality inspections.
    • Budgeting: Oversee the plant's operational budget, control manufacturing costs, and forecast expenses.
    • Inventory & Procurement: Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal raw material inventory and reduce supply chain disruptions.

    Typical Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: Degree in Food Technology, Biochemistry, Operations Management, or Engineering.
    • Experience: Usually 5 - 7 years in food production, FMCG production, bakery operations or related factory operations.
    • Experience in an SME or scale-up manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
    • Core Skills: Supply chain management, budget planning, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership.
