Job Description:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to manage, the marketing of its Agency Banking (POS) Product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of the financial services sector, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive financial inclusion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Agency Banking, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Conduct routine market research on competitors and competitive analysis of the company’s products.
• Design and implement effective marketing strategies consistent with organizational goals.
• Identify new opportunities to increase market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
• Develop and execute partnerships strategy for the company’s products
• Lead the sales & marketing teams to ensure the achievement of set marketing goals or targets.
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Ensure all new product development activities are prioritized to deliver value and impact.

Person Specifications:

• 4 years of professional experience in Product Management, candidates with past or present experiences with Moniepoint, Opay Financial Services and Palmpay are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in product management preferably in Agency Banking or relevant areas
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and technology
