Procurement Executive at Konga Online Shopping Limited

Job Summary:

• To manage the procurement of goods, services, and inventory required for Konga’s online and offline business operations. The Procurement Executive will ensure cost-effective sourcing, maintain supplier relationships, support inventory availability, and uphold procurement best practices tailored to the fast-paced e-commerce environment. This role involves collaborating with various departments to recommend vendors and contracts, optimizing overall supply chain efficiency.

KEY DUTIES:

• Sourcing & Procurement: Source merchandise and operational supplies for Konga’s e-commerce platform, retail outlets, Corporate Sales Units, and internal requisitions, with a focus on Home and Kitchen and other designated categories.
• Supplier Management: Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Execute the registration of quality vendors capable of competing with existing ones.
• Strategy & Analysis: Assist category managers with supplier/product intelligence and sourcing strategies. Support demand forecasting based on sales trends and promotional campaigns.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines. Manage timely processing of purchase orders (POs) and ensure seamless procurement-to-payment processes in coordination with Finance and Logistics teams.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date procurement document regularization for inbounded items, cross-docked items, and journals.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs including lead time, cost savings, and supplier performance.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2–5 years procurement experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CIPS, CIPSMN) are an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft ERP or procurement software, Excel (specifically Table formulation, Pivot Tables, basic formula setting, and VLOOKUP).
