    Process Engineer

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation.
    • The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
    • Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
    • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
    • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
    • Perform process simulations
    • Manage cost and time constraints
    • Perform risk assessments
    • Provide process documentation and operating instructions

    Requirements and Skills

    • BS Degree in Engineering
    • Proven work experience in process engineering
    • Excellent technical skills
    • Knowledge of process related standards
    • Experience in process simulations
    • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
    • CAD or AutoCad skills
    • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
    • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.

    Lead Planning Engineer

    Job Description
    The duties of the Lead Planner shall include but not limited to:

    • Planning and monitoring projects from beginning to end.
    • Reviewing the project scopes in detail and preparing project schedules of logical activity sequence
    • Ensuring all activities to be carried out are catered to in the schedule.
    • Ensuring that the estimated duration for each activity is realistic with adequate manning.
    • Preparing job cards that break down activities and indicates the duration of tasks.
    • Monitoring daily activities by receiving daily updates from junior planning engineers and junior project engineers from engineering to installation scopes
    • Keeping a close eye on projects critical path and issuing timely prompts to the Project Manager on delayed activities
    • Preparing weekly and monthly project reports inputs for management and clients
    • Mentor and train junior and trainee Planning Engineers.
    • Taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
    • Intervening to stop unsafe acts and conditions in the workplace that could injure personnel or adversely impact on the environment.
    • Participating in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings.
    • Participating in U-See U-Act reporting, hazard identification, mitigation, or elimination.
    • Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Line Manager.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 8 years work experience.
