Responsibilities

• Maintain effective patrolling and monitoring of activities of guards and beats under his coveragewhile also ensuring high standards of safety, workmanship, efficiency and maximizing profitability.
• Decodes post orders to the operatives and ensure strict adherence to the post orders at the protected locations.
• To drive compliance to the company lay downregulations.
• Ensures uniform performance of duties in accordance with approved process and procedures whilepromotingexemplary appearance and conduct.
• Patrol tour of the protected premises and prepared an heighten risk advise where neccessary.
• Ensures that assigned area of responsibility is stabilized and devoid of any criminal activities.
• Prepares daily occurencereports giving recommendations on how to improve our efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assists in developing the Guards by ensuring that their competencies are fully developed to meet future challenges in the industry.
• Handles Guards complaints
• Attend to welfare issues.
• Undertakes induction & training for Guards.

Requirements

• OND qualification
• 3 - 5 years of work experience.

Job Description

• Review vetting applications to ensure they are complete and comply with the companypolicy and procedure.
• Carry out the full range of checks specified in the companyvetting policy, to ensure that all relevant information is obtained.
• Liaise with other team memberon individual cases, requesting and providing information to enable vetting decision-making.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and any matters relating to an applicant’s suitability for vettingwhich may be a potential threat to security to highlight areas which may require further research and investigation prior to vettingdecision being made.
• Conduct further research and investigation into applicant’s suitability for vettingto further assess any potential vulnerabilities which might cause potential threats to security.
• Conduct interviews with candidates, where necessary to clarify information, to ensure that vetting decisions are based on an appropriate understanding of that information.
• Carry out risk assessments of information gathered in the context of vettingor request, to identify risk mitigation measures and ensure the production of an auditable rationale for vetting decisions.
• Prepare vetting reports to the highest standard.
• Maintain full records of vetting activities and decisions made, to ensure that decisions are transparent and open to audit and review.

Requirements

• OND qualification
• 2 - 5 years of work experience.
• Must be able to ride bike and have a vaild rider's card.
