The Industrial Painter is responsible for the daily painting of genset parts using the appropriate paint materials and thinners, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet production standards.
This role requires expertise in both powder and wet paint applications, as well as the ability to maintain assigned equipment while coordinating timely delivery of painted parts to other production departments as per the production plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint genset parts in accordance with company specifications and quality standards.
Select and apply the correct type of paint and thinner to achieve optimal coating and durability.
Ensure all painted components meet required aesthetic and technical standards before passing them to the next stage of production.
Operate and maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and related tools to ensure efficiency and longevity.
Perform necessary surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and priming, to achieve a smooth finish.
Follow safety protocols when handling paint materials, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment to prevent defects and ensure consistency in application.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate timely delivery of painted parts according to the production schedule.
Identify and resolve issues related to paint quality, adherence, and defects.
Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in painting techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience in industrial painting with expertise in both powder and wet paint applications.
Familiarity with different types of paint materials and their appropriate use.
Knowledge of paint mixing, coating techniques, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to operate spray painting equipment and follow technical guidelines for proper application.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Understanding of workplace safety practices related to painting and chemical handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
