    Production Supevisor

    Brief Description

    Manage a team of Powder Coaters, responsible for the complete powder coating process. Estimate material requirements, assign tasks, evaluate work progress, ensure that safety guidelines are respected, recommend corrective actions, and train staff.

    Duties

    • Supervise the powder coating team in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for determining shift schedules, work station assignments/rotations, staff annual leaves, and overtime.
    • Plan the day to day activities of the production team with appropriate lead times to meet customer demands.
    • Schedule and conduct ongoing section meetings to monitor production performance.
    • Responsible for the preparation of parts for coating purpose.
    • Ensure all principles and practices of powder coating are applied.
    • Observe all coating equipment including electrostatics guns.
    • Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
    • Determine powder flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
    • Ensure baking at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.
    • Ensure that all parts produced are well coated and production activities are consistent with company established goals for quality and customers’ specifications.
    • Ensure metal is prepared for spraying in time for the scheduled.
    • Ensure all production plans and deadlines are adhered to.
    • Ensure quality standards and processes are maintained throughout the facility.
    • Ensure safety guidelines are continuously applicable in order to assure a safe working environment.
    • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and machines.
    • Receive complete parts for effective processes flow.
    • Responsible to meet production goals and targets.
    • Responsible for materials’ collection on weekly basis.
    • Ensure all workers are well coordinated.
    • Prepare production reports and communicate it to the Production Manager.
    • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

    Competencies

    • Strong ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range
    • Strong knowledge of powder painting, maintenance of powder coat equipment, and how to read blueprints and drawings
    • Excellent painting techniques expertise
    • Knowledge of the mechanics and repair of coating equipment
    • Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments.
    • Excellent coordination and communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills

    Mechanic Assembler

    Brief Description

    Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.

    Duties

    • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blue print specifications and part lists.
    • Perform flow and/or pressure testing of assembly components.
    • Perform final assembly of units after final completion of testing and record applicable data as required.
    • Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
    • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
    • Verify conformance of parts to assembly lists or blue prints before assembly.
    • Set and verify parts clearance.
    • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards and report any quality issue to supervisor.
    • Position or align components for assembly manually or using hoist.
    • Assemble components by examining connections to correct fit; fastener parts.
    • Secure assembly using bolts, wrenches and other fasteners. 
    • Perform rework and make adjustments as required.
    • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. 
    • Perform all work in accordance with quality standard and established safety procedure.
    • Interface with quality assurance and test personnel to ensure subassemblies are inspected and tested at specified checkpoints.
    • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies

    • Able and willing to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm and optimism for work activities
    • Able to process multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to follow work orders efficiently
    • Must be able to assemble and retain knowledge of all assemblies
    • Able to meet deadlines
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Able to work under pressure
