    Account Officer (Tax and Audit Specialist)

    OVERVIEW:

    Eko Maintenance Limited is seeking a skilled Accounts Officer with expertise in tax and audit. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with tax regulations, conduct internal audits, and maintain accurate financial records. This role is vital for upholding financial accuracy and supporting the company’s growth.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
    • Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy and adherence to company policies.
    • Maintain and reconcile financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Support external audits and provide guidance on tax and financial compliance.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax and audit.
    • Strong knowledge of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
    • Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is an advantage.

    Technical Storekeeper

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintaining a meticulous record of all items in the store, ensuring accuracy and completeness in inventory management.
    • Administering the stored items with care and caution, following established procedures and guidelines.
    • Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient utilization of resources.
    • Conducting regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and address discrepancies promptly.
    • Coordinating with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions and external customer orders accurately and on time.
    • Ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the storage area to uphold high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.
    • Utilizing computerized inventory management systems to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyze trends for informed decision-making.
    • Providing support during inventory counts, reconciliations, and year-end audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have technical storekeeping experience and a wide knowledge of plumbing parts, electrical parts, mechanical parts etc.
    • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
    • Proximity to the workplace is preferred for efficient and timely attendance.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials if applicable.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Communication, honesty, responsibility, collaboration and awareness is key in any task.

    Aluminum Technician

    Duties And Responsibilities:

    • Technician must possess adequate skill to execute aluminum fixtures and maintenance.
    • Must be able to analyze and execute task according to regulated standards
    • Must be polyvalent to execute other civil tasks asides aluminum fixtures and maintenance works. E.g. – Façade Cleaning, etc..
    • Must be able to handle portable and dedicated power tools and equipment’s
    • Must be able to perform aluminum works, iron monger works, furniture, etc.

    Knowledge And Skills Required:

    • Applicant must have proven track record on the job.
    • Basic understanding, knowledge and experience in HSE procedures is a pre-requisite
    • The Applicant is expected to be familiar with aluminum works, use of alucoboard, iron monger works, furniture works and Janitorial services.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of Trade Test in Electrical or its equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Aluminum works.
