REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess:

1. B.Sc., B.Ed., or an equivalent qualification in the relevant subject.
2. IGCSE certification (or experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculcum)
3. TRCN certification
4. proven ability to prepare students for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE and other external examinations.
5. strong commitment to academic excellence, discipline, professionalism and teamwork.
6. A minimum of five years of teaching experience.

• Educational Qualification: Minimum of Registered Nurse (RN) qualification. A Registered Midwife (RM) qualification may be an added advantage.
• Must be licensed and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) with a valid practising licence.
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a school, paediatric, clinic, hospital, or child-care setting.
• First Aid & Emergency Care: Must have good knowledge of first aid, basic life support (BLS), and emergency response.
• Childcare Knowledge: Good understanding of common childhood illnesses, injuries, allergies, fever, asthma, and other health concerns affecting children.
• Health Records: Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical and health records for pupils and staff.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, teachers, and management.
• Medication Management: Ability to safely administer prescribed medication and maintain appropriate medication records.
• Health & Safety: Knowledge of school health, hygiene, infection prevention, and basic occupational health and safety practices.
• Personal Qualities: Must be caring, patient, observant, trustworthy, emotionally stable, and able to remain calm during emergencies.
• Must be able to work effectively with children of different ages, from Early Years through College.
• Computer literacy and the ability to prepare basic reports will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to participate in school health screenings, health education, emergency preparedness, and wellness programmes.
