Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, cannulation, and other sample collection techniques for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide patient care and support during diagnostic procedures.
• Assist in preparing patients for radiological and laboratory diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with the laboratory and radiology teams to ensure accurate sample handling and documentation.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after procedures and provide immediate support if needed.
• Educate patients on diagnostic processes and ensure they feel comfortable and informed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment in line with health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Current license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a diagnostic or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, cannulation, and other sample collection techniques.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and ensuring patient comfort.
• Applicants must reside in Port Harcourt.
