We are currently looking for network engineer who will be responsible for administration, recommending and implementing design changes, configuration and maintenance of BGP, VLANs, Q-in-Q VPNs, RADIUS/AAA, Public Hotspot, IP addressing and management of the following devices and networks related to Ekovolt’s provision of internet, data center, enterprise security and productivity services.
Install and survey using Cambium and Ubiquiti customer premise equipment (CPE) device for internet service at customer sites.
Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose and clarify network issues, and confirm understanding of requirements or problem.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) network.
Manage BTS devices – Access Points (Cambium and Ubiquiti), Edge switches (Cisco, MikroTik, HP Enterprise, Netonix), cabling, power and space planning.
Resolve customer issues related to network devices and customer LAN/WLAN.
Create and update tickets resolution detail utilizing case management solution.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management to express ideas to make informed decisions.
Troubleshoot customer issues related to internet broadband, modem, router
Interact with other internal departments to resolve customer issues.
Resolve customer issues by changing channels.
Qualifications
A minimum of HND / BSc. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering or in any related discipline.
4 - 7 years experience in designing, implementtations of WAN/LAN networks.
Knowledge and experience in routing, switching and wireless technologies – on MikroTik RouterOS, Cambium and Ubiquiti, Cisco IOS; Fortinet, Sophos and SonicWall Firewalls. Windows Server, Virtualization systems and Azure Administration a plus. Proficiency in network diagramming – using Microsoft Visio or like tools.
Experience working with IP Networking and Internet services
Radio and Wireless configuration knowledge.

Develop documentations, work flows, process flow to smooth operations if required.
Provide special project leadership and support as needed.
Establish best-practice methodologies based on metrics-based KPIs for incident/change/problem management in a 24x7, high-availability, critical production environment.
Strong understanding of budgets and financials, and measuring business value with the ability to manage projects to budgets.
Mentor, manage and motivate a high-performing team of managers and engineering professionals and set clear priorities to achieve department goals and KPIs.
Manage oversight of complex network operations processes based on a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
Support adoption of new technologies and tools, and recommend capability improvements to network and security operations.
Analyze network from a cost, capacity, and forecast perspective, and evaluate new network operations technologies and applications.
Work closely with all departments to proactively ensure network operations capabilities are capable of handling emerging and future business requirements.
Ensure service-level targets are met, and address all service-level complaints.
Provide subject matter expertise in interactions with partners and customers, program manage collaboration projects externally and internally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is required. IT, Business IT, Network, Telecommunications.
MBA would be plus.
Knowledge of Telecom/ISP business, related technologies, business planning.
Experience in Telecommunications Industry would be preferred.
Motivated professional, organized, ability to write well, and have an effective time management.
Strong Leadership and Initiative Skill.
Proficient in MS office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Excellent market communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
