Job Description

• As a mechanical site engineer, you'll oversee the installation of plumbing and mechanical systems on the construction site, ensuring they meet safety standards and building codes.
• You'll collaborate with other team members and troubleshoot any issues.
• A mechanical engineering degree and relevant experience are required, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience working in a construction environment.

Key Tasks

• Plan the plumbing and mechanical engineering work with the Construction Manager and efficiently organise the site to meet agreed deadlines.
• Supervise and monitor the plumbing subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
• Set out, level and survey the site with the Construction Surveyor for plumbing and mechanical works.
• Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Prepare reports as required.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech qualification with 5 - 10 years work experience.

N250,000 - N400,000 / month.
