    Manager – Energy / Feeder

    How You'll Make An Impact

    • We are looking for a technically sharp and commercially aware Manager – Energy / Feeder to sit at the intersection of data, field, and product relationships. In this role, you will drive energy performance across assigned client networks managing metering integrity, conducting loss studies, and delivering the insights that power smarter grid decisions.

    What You'll Do
    Energy Monitoring & Data Integrity

    • Work closely with the Product Operations team to ensure accurate real-time streaming of feeder and distribution transformer (DT) energy readings
    • Monitor and validate readings for Maximum Demand (MD) customers to ensure data accuracy and operational reliability
    • Conduct joint meter readings with client technical teams for billing verification and monthly energy reconciliation
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of energy data used for operational analysis, reporting, and ESG requirements

    Client & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client metering departments and distribution substation officers to ensure the reliability and proper functioning of metering assets
    • Serve as a key operational contact for client teams regarding metering performance, feeder monitoring, and energy data integrity
    • Provide regular management reports on feeder energy performance, including analysis of trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities

    Technical Analysis & Loss Reduction

    • Conduct joint technical loss studies with client engineering teams across assigned feeders and regions
    • Support the identification of technical and operational losses and recommend corrective actions to improve network efficiency
    • Lead or support energy audits and contribute to the implementation of measures that improve energy performance

    Field & Technical Operations

    • Support basic meter repair and meter recertification activities in collaboration with technical metering teams
    • Participate in field inspections and operational assessments to ensure proper functioning of metering and feeder infrastructure
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors involved, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure compliance with national energy regulations applicable to client markets
    • Support adherence to relevant international technical and operational standards
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support operational, regulatory, and sustainability reporting requirements

    Managerial Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear goals, KPIs, and accountability standards
    • Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and delivery planning within approved budgets
    • Participate in annual planning and forecasting processes
    • Own hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and individual development plans
    • Ensure operational discipline, timely delivery, and quality standards
    • Identify and escalate resource or budget risks impacting delivery
    • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

    What We're Looking For
    Professional & Technical Strengths

    • Strong practical experience in energy management, metering operations, electrical engineering, within a utility or power distribution company
    • Strong understanding of feeder energy performance, loss analysis, and electricity metering systems
    • Ability to conduct and interpret technical loss studies and energy audits
    • Familiarity with grid management concepts, including distribution transformer (DT) readings and Maximum Demand (MD) monitoring
    • Experience coordinating or managing vendors and contractors involved in energy or infrastructure projects
    • Working knowledge of national energy regulations, as well as ESG and sustainability reporting requirements

    Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths

    • Ability to collaborate with multicultural and geographically distributed teams
    • High degree of autonomy and accountability
    • Willingness to travel within and outside the country
    • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with client technical teams and external stakeholders
    • Clear and structured communicator, capable of translating technical analysis into actionable insights and management reports
    • Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different sites and client engagements

    Nice to Have

    • Experience working with SCADA systems, Meter Data Management (MDM) platforms
    • Exposure to data analysis tools or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
    • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within utilities, particularly related to energy monitoring, loss reduction, or network performance optimization

    Manager – Meter Engineering

    How You'll Make An Impact

    • We are looking for a technically sharp Manager – Meter Engineering with strong project management capabilities to lead the deployment, performance, and reliability of metering infrastructure across BPS client network. The role is responsible for overseeing the proper installation, maintenance, calibration, and optimization of electricity meters that support grid visibility, energy analytics, and revenue assurance.
    • The role works closely with clients to ensure metering infrastructure is deployed and operated to high technical and operational standards.

     

    What You'll Do

    Metering Infrastructure Management

    • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electricity meters across BPS client networks
    • Ensure meters are properly configured, calibrated, and operational to support accurate data collection and billing integrity
    • Support the deployment of smart meters and AMI devices in coordination with engineering and product teams
    • Implement preventive maintenance and inspection schedules for metering equipment

    Technical Oversight

    • Ensure client field teams follow standard procedures for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Support the coordination of installation schedules, site access, and logistics for meter deployments
    • Investigate meter faults, installation issues, and communication failures
    • Support client field teams in diagnosing and resolving technical issues on site
    • Enforce safety standards and operational best practices

    Data Quality & System Integration

    • Monitor meter data quality and communication performance
    • Escalate and coordinate resolution of data or connectivity issues with internal technical teams
    • Ensure proper integration of meter installations with BPS platforms and utility systems

    Compliance & Quality Assurance

    • Ensure field activities comply with metering standards, safety requirements, and operational guidelines
    • Maintain installation records, technical documentation, and field reports
    • Conduct periodic checks of installations and equipment performance

    What We're Looking For
    Professional & Technical Strengths

    • Strong practical experience in metering operations or electrical engineering within a utility, metering provider, or power distribution environment
    • Solid understanding of electricity meters, smart metering systems, and AMI infrastructure
    • Experience with meter installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting in field environments
    • Good understanding of distribution networks, feeder monitoring, and energy measurement at transformer or feeder level
    • Experience working with or supervising field technicians, contractors, or installation teams
    • Familiarity with meter communication systems and data collection processes
