    Maintenance Engineer

    Job Objective(s)

    • Responsible for the functional availability of all operating equipment and infrastructure within assigned terminal/jetty.
    • The Position Holder would also be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of all technical and operating assets of the Mid-stream Jetty, Control Facility and Marketers' Skids.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and systematically maintain aggressive/predictive maintenance schedules at the Jetty and terminal Control centers to ensure hitch free Vessel receipt activities.
    • Maintain regular service program for all ASPM equipment in order to maintain maximum possible efficiency of the equipment.
    • Monitor the efficient and correct use of all equipment within the jetty and terminals.
    • Ensure that the Maintenance Crew adheres strictly to Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
    • Participate in the FEED of all engineering projects related to the ASPM Facilities
    • Ensure adequate monitoring and supervision of projects at the Jetty, Control Centre and Marketers’ Skids
    • Recommend and generate reports for the phasing out of obsolete equipment as necessary.
    • Ensure the use of competent contractors for jobs beyond the ability of the maintenance crew
    • Generate daily, weekly and monthly maintenance reports to the Jetty Manager
    • Advise Tender Committee on technical issues.
    • Ensure prompt completion of all maintenance and project works within the jetty, control center and marketers’ skids with minimum disruption to vessel receipt operations.
    • Provide operational support for the vessel berthing and discharge operations chain.
    • Certify that all completed contracts and jobs within the jetty, control center and marketers’ skids meet the required statutory and industry standards.
    • Maintenance of Building Services task.

    Working Conditions and Operating Environment:

    • May need to manage steep timelines
    • Drive cost-savings whilst maintaining or even exceeding set standards.
    • Additional work hours may be required.
    • Primary work based in marine environment (mid-stream jetty), product storage terminals and pipeline distribution facilities.

    Qualifications / ceretifications / Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering
    • Professional membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers
    • 5 - 8 years of core experience in a similar role (preferably within the oil and gas industry)

    Project Coordinator

    Description

    • The position reports to the Head - Retail Engineering and is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all retail engineering projects across all regions, from design through the execution phase, and all the way to project commissioning / handing over.
    • The Project Coordinator is required to plan and supervise project upgrade work, utilizing a dedicated team of contractors, and project managers to deliver projects in conformity with established methods, policies, procedures, standards, and desired metrics.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct site surveys for potential projects.
    • Completes feasibility and inspection visits to prospecting retail outlets (NTC) to ascertain the equipment and infrastructural gaps prior to station commissioning.
    • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints for all Projects in the Region.
    • Coordinate the regularization of building agency and architectural documentation for retail sites.
    • Develop feasibility study, executive summary, concept selection report for proposed projects.
    • Develop project charter, project scope of works, work breakdown schedule, project schedule for approved projects
    • Prepare technical evaluation reports in line with tender process.
    • Prepare project execution plan, Risk Log, Issue Log for projects commencing execution stage
    • Compile Project documentation [EHSSQ, Contract BOQs, IFC drawings].
    • Coordinate project vendors and OVH internal stakeholders.
    • Compile weekly project progress reports [update report, tracking, risk and issue logs].
    • Coordinate Project PSUA.
    • Participate actively in the design, delivery, and inspection of technical projects or in the engineering work of the unit when required.
    • Drive project completion within the engineering unit while adhering to environmental, health and safety provisions.
    • Report hazards identified in the course of executing job duties.
    • Plan and execute process improvement projects within the engineering unit.
    • Conduct site visitation during project implementation for quality control purposes.
    • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the project activities and operations of the engineering unit.
    • Consult and negotiate with contractors to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present technical engineering evaluation reports and findings.
    • Evaluate technical contractor performance following project execution.
    • Drive development and staff skill improvement in critical areas via hosting of in-house training.
    • Develop and implement procedures and policies for the technical work performed in the engineering unit.
    • Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the project team.
    • Collaborate with other units in assuring seamless project delivery by eliminating bottlenecks and waste along the value chain.
    • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reporting templates for routine and non-routine communication with project stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Professional membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers.
    • 5 - 8 years of core experience in a similar role (preferably within the oil and gas industry).
    • Professional certification in project management.
    • Architectural & Engineering Design Interpretation.
    • Competence in use of Microsoft Office.
    • Competence in use of Microsoft Project.
    • Competence in use of AutoCAD.

    Tax Accountant

    Job Objective(s)

    • The Position Holder would be responsible for supporting the Head - Tax and Fixed Assets in ensuring total compliance with statutory provisions on taxation, while limiting its tax obligations through the provision of effective tax planning, and reporting compliance mechanisms.
    • He liaises with the consultants and attends to vendors/suppliers on tax related issues.
    • (S)He would also be responsible for providing operational support in the maintenance and monitoring of the company's fixed asset register.
    • As part of this responsibility, the Position Holder would be directly responsible for the capture of all fixed assets information as well implementing the selected valuation basis for the proper recording of the relevant financial data associated with their purchase and utilization.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Capturing all financial data as regards the procurement and Utilization of company wide fixed assets.
    • Maintaining the Fixed Asset register and subsidiary ledgers i.e. Fixed Assets, Incomplete construction.
    • Fixed assets verification Calculation of monthly depreciation charge.
    • Determination and booking of profit/loss as applicable to fixed assets disposals.
    • Secretary to asset disposal committee.
    • Prepare and remits monthly VAT, WHT, PAYEE and Pension Contributions to the relevant authorities.
    • Liaise with the tax consultants in processing company income tax clearance, staff Electronic Tax Clearance Certificate and in responding to query raised by tax authorities.
    • Monitors and reconciles VAT, WHT, Pension, PAYEE and staff loan accounts to the general ledger.
    • Monitors the receipt of WHT credit notes for recovery from the company’s tax liability.
    • Responds to vendors’ complaints on tax matters that affect their bills.
    • Reconciles payroll flow from the sub-ledger to the general ledger.

    Requirements
    Academic Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance).
    • Associate membership of either the ICAN or ACCA.

    Work Experience:

    • 1 - 3 years of experience in an accounting role (preferably within Oil and Gas sector).
