Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for the preparation and review of all technical drawings and documents for instrumentation discipline.
• Reviews and provides knowledgeable technical inputs on instrumentation engineering related technical matters to interfacing disciplines during the execution of the project work packages.
• To review proposed deviations and give recommendation for project management approval
• Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications, such as Specification and instrument Data Sheets.
• Supervise the site installation of all instruments as per project work packages.
• Perform Testing, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of installed instrumentation systems at site.
• Execute the commissioning procedures as per project documentation provided.
• Participate in ICSS system test, Pre-commissioning & commissioning.   
• Participate in Metering system testing & Pre-comm and Commissioning.
• Supervise Field instrument, and Fire & Gas equipment installation, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning.
• Liaise with other discipline installation, construction teams for the effective completion of site installation.
• Maintain the as-built drawing during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages of the project.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic / Instrument Engineering or Equivalent qualification with minimum of 10 years in Oil & Gas projects. Commissioning experience will be an added advantage.
• Worked with major ICSS systems.
• Executed commissioning of the ICSS system, metering systems & other control system-based packages.

• Function in the capacity of Buyer for the organization.
• Negotiate with supplier/vendor to obtain the best possible pricing.
• Responsible for supplier's management and maintain a complete database for all approved suppliers.
• Achieve high performance levels for on time delivery, on time order processing, order confirmation receipts, proper inventory levels, minimal errors, and others as developed.
• Lead the procurement department during work rotation to ensure that materials are procured effectively and efficiently.
• Do market research to ensure materials and parts are procured with reduced cost and retain desired quality.
• Plan and coordinate logistics process to meet local regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Meet cost, accuracy, and timeliness in logistics function.
• Monitor status of imported goods/material before use.
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare / Review QA/QC plans for construction and refurbishment work.
• Ensure the establishment of quality procedures including time limits for inspection, sampling, and testing of works and other QA/QC requirements.
• Oversee and manage the quality assessment of materials through material receiving inspection.
• Ensure specific quality standards are constantly met at all levels of construction projects in consultation with the project management team.  
• Site inspection of each and every activity as per approved ITP.
• Review technical specifications and recommend standard construction specifications for all items of works for their effective use in projects’ works.
• Review all standard test forms to be used during QA testing schedules and procedures and evaluate results as appropriate.
• Review contractor practices and conventional methodologies and make recommendations where remedial action is required
• Implementation and monitoring of quality assessments
• Prepare Monthly QA/QC report on project QA/QC activities
• Raise QA/QC Observations & propose corrective & preventive actions in conjunction with the Site Manager & relevant site staff / Monitor & follow up on action items.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in construction work with an emphasis on materials testing, quality control, and assurance, and a firm understanding of requirements and specifications of testing and materials

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Continuous inspection of project sites to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans.    
• Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality.    
• Promoting safe practices on site.    
• Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs.    
• Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations.    
• Conducting investigations on accidents.    
• Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.    
• Responding to workers safety concerns.    
• Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.    
• Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction/site Manager.    
• Ensure strict compliance with project HSE policy and procedures during pre-commissioning, start up and commissioning of site installations.
• Ensure compliance of Permit to Work System and SIMOPS management systems.    
• Manage all project induction programs.    
• Ensure accurate measurement of HSE performance metrics and their timely reporting.    
• Fulfill emergency response duties as detailed in the emergency response plan.  
• Analyze the HSE data proactively and provide the project management team with clear direction on the areas to focus.    

Requirement & Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess a BSc / HND in Engineering or relevant degree.      
• Minimum possess 5 years’ experience as a Safety Engineer in an oil & gas company.    
• Professional qualifications in ISO 9001: 2015, CSWIP, AWS, NACE.    
• Have ISPON Level 3 or other relevant certification.
