We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join us full time for 3 months on our pilot program where 10 top tier startups from Nigeria receive mentorship from our sponsoring corporates, partners and investors.

JOBS TO BE DONE

The UI/UX Designer will be required to do the following:

• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets and adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Analyze, recommend and lead the implementation of improvement initiatives
• Keep abreast with the latest trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing
• Identify industry trends and insights

Required Skills and Experience

The UI/UX Designer will be required to have the following:

• +2 years as a UI/UX designer or similar role
•  Experience in working with startup companies
• Experience with design software and wireframe tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Miro for example.
• Good time management skills and strong communication skills

In this role, you will work with the Director of Design, Strategy and Quality Assurance, to create a system of operations to achieve broad organisational goals for the Foundation.

Jobs to be done

Design Strategic & Impactful Programs- You will assist the DIrector DSQ in achieving the following;

• Design new VP programs & partner programs.

• Develop standardized programs and program components.

• Conduct relevant research to inform program design and organisational strategy

• Convert post design outputs into powerpoint presentation for final vetting

• Engage key stakeholders to glean industry insights and engage in policy dialogue

• Assist in the production of Annual Impact Report

Develop Systems for Efficient and Effective Operations

• Maintain & Follow through on an activity calendar for the Directorate

• Follow the Directorates SOP to guide operations.

• Manage all inbounds from the Company email accounts

• Maintain and update an online repository of all DSQ documents on the Directorate's google Drive for easy search & retrieval

Institute Quality Assurance and Control Systems

• Follow through on established systems to ensure quality assurance and regular checks.

• Create and synchronize templates and standards for quality execution.

• Drive a robust feedback & review system for all VPF programs

• Coordinate and manage Effective Monitoring and Evaluation Systems
