    Primary Art & Design Teacher

    • We seek an experienced Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher to join our team to teach one day a week. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art education within the British curriculum and a commitment to encouraging artistic expression in young learners. 

    The successful candidate will be:

    • An excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level that can teach high quality art and design lessons to pupils at primary level ranging from year 1-6.
    • Confidently be able to teach children drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, sculpture and model making techniques
    • Confident in the use of computers and enthusiastic in using new technology to enhance learning.
    • Skilled at fostering independent, pupil-led learning
    • Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes artistic expression and appreciation.
    • Able to assess and evaluate students\' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

    Requirements:

    • Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
    • B.A/HND Degree in Fine Arts
    • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Package; especially Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent spoken and written communications skills
    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

    French Teacher (1 Day Weekly)

    PART-TIME FRENCH TEACHER

    • We seek a dedicated and passionate Part-Time French Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the French language, with the ability to effectively teach pupils of various age groups and proficiency levels within Nursery and Primary.

    The successful candidate will be:

    • An excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level that can teach high quality lessons to pupils in Early Years and Primary, ranging from Nursery to Year 6
    • Responsible for delivering engaging lessons
    • Able to assess pupils’ progress in both written and spoken French and provide constructive feedback and support

    School Receptionist

    Female School Receptionist

    • Millie’s British International School is seeking a warm, confident and highly organised Female School Receptionist to join our administrative team.
    • As the first point of contact in our school office, the successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming and efficient environment for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

    Key Responsibilities

    Front Desk & Enquiries

    • Serve as the first point of contact at the school reception, delivering a friendly and professional welcome.
    • Handle admission enquiries across walk-ins, phone calls, and emails, including conducting facility tours for interested families and following up with prospective parents.
    • Maintain registration forms, documentation and checklists.
    • Schedule assessment appointments 

    Pupil & Parent Support

    • Assist with late arrivals, early pick-ups and signing pupils in/out.
    • Provide basic first aid when necessary (and escalate to the welfare officer/management).
    • Support distressed pupils or those waiting to be collected.
    • Distribute forms, newsletters and important documents to classes and parents.
    • Support birthday celebrations, school events and other special activities.

    Administrative & Office Duties

    • Keep pupil records updated (attendance, contact details, etc.).
    • Photocopy, laminate and prepare documents for pupils, staff and management.
    • Monitor the office notice board and maintain stock levels of office supplies and stationery, raising replenishment requests as needed.
    • Attend school meetings and produce clear, accurate minutes.
    • Support preparation for school events such as graduations, Christmas productions and Open Days.
    • Log incidents, accidents or complaints and promptly flag them to the school administrator.
    • Ensure the reception area and office remains tidy, organised and welcoming.

    Requirements

    • Must reside in Ibadan, within reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
    • Minimum academic qualification of B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., or HND
    • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role within a school or other customer-facing environment.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    • Legible, neat and clear handwriting 
    • Well-presented, courteous and professional.
    • Demonstrates consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
    • Must bring a positive attitude, patience, a good sense of humour, and the energy required to work effectively with young children
    • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
