    Marine Compliance Officer

    Summary:

    Our client, a reputable shipping company is hiring smart graduates for the role of Marine Compliance Officer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in implementing an effective marine compliance program.
    • Assist in developing and reviewing company marine policies.
    • Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
    • Assist in creating and managing effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
    • Assist in auditing company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
    • Assessing company operations to determine compliance risk.
    • Resolve employee concerns about compliance issues.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any related fields.
    • 1 – 2 years’ experience in marine compliance related role.
    • Good knowledge of Nigerian maritime rules and regulations.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
    • Integrity and professional ethics.
    • Marine background is an added advantage
    • Must be willing to work in Warri.

    Export Documentation Officer

    Summary:

    Our client, a reputable shipping company is hiring smart graduates for the role of Export Documentation Officer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process document to shipping line, send pre-alert and inform schedule to customer as well as co-ordinate with all department, colleagues, and manager to improve KPI.
    • Handle customer complaints and enquiries.
    • Produce and control all required documents accurately and timely.
    • Handle customer complaints and enquiries.
    • Confirm accuracy of internal and external documents.
    • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics or related fields.
    • Experience in import and export shipping business is an advantage.
    • 1 - 2 years’ experience post NYSC.
    • Marine background or marine related courses is an advantage.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Energetic, well-organized, self-initiated and good coordination skill.
    • Must be resident around in Warri, Delta State
