Job Description / Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all quality assurance activities in the production of company products
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Identify quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records, reports, and documentation
- Train and guide production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
- Ensure proper implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent product quality
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control within a food manufacturing environment (experience with fresh produce is an added advantage)
- Good knowledge of food safety standards and quality management systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills

- Good communication and reporting skills
