Requirements

• Must have a B.Ed.  in Accounting or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field
• Must have immaculate command of English

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing annual 1- and 3-year budgets which support school development aims and meet DfE and other requirements
• Monitor all financial transactions and ensure best practice
• Identify and inform the Headmaster and Trust Finance Director of the causes of any significant variance and recommend prompt corrective action
• Propose revisions to the budget in response to significant or unforeseen developments
• Manage aspects of school finances
• Working with the School Business Manager to ensure the school achieves best value for money in all financial transactions
• Preparing and posting the monthly payroll journal based on information received from the payroll service provider
• Teach students accounting and related subjects

• Candidate must be a trained teacher posessing a bachelor in education or equivalent
• Candidate must have not less than 3 years of cognate experience
• Aplicant must be experienced in presenting candidates for external examinations with track records of success
• Applicant must have a good comand of spoken and written English
• Must be of good character
• Must demonstate good working knowledge of managing and mentoring young leaders.
