    Retail Store Officer

    Job Purpose

    • Managing the day-to-day activities of the retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maximize store performance and revenue

    Roles and Responsibilities
    Retail Store Operations:

    • Oversee the overall operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to provide a positive and consistent customer experience.
    • Monitor and evaluate store performance metrics, such as sales, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity, and implement strategies for improvement.

    Customer Service Excellence:

    • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, providing product information, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
    • Train and motivate store staff to deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
    • Foster a customer-centric culture within the store, encouraging a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

    Inventory Management:

    • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control through regular stock checks, monitoring stock movement, and coordinating with the warehouse and logistics teams.
    • Implement inventory management systems and procedures to optimize stock availability, minimize stock discrepancies, and prevent stockouts or overstocks.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and collaborate with the Finance department to reconcile stock records and identify discrepancies.

    Store Reporting and Communication:

    • Prepare regular sales reports, inventory reports, and other operational reports as required by the management.
    • Communicate effectively with the management team, providing updates on store performance, sales trends, customer feedback, and operational challenges.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure alignment and efficient store operations.

    Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of products, adherence to food safety standards, and maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
    • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any identified hazards or risks.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience (2+ years) in retail operations, preferably in the food or similar industry.
    • Strong understanding of retail store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and merchandising

    Job Description

    • This role aims to facilitate the seamless integration of farmers into the natnuPrenuer scheme, provide them with essential extension services, and ensure their adherence to best practices in broiler rearing.
    • Foster a conducive environment for farmers to thrive, achieve desired outcomes, and contribute to the scheme's objectives of increased market share, sales targets attainment, profitability, and sustainability.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Actively recruit farmers to participate in the NatnuPrenuer scheme.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new farmers, ensuring they understand the scheme's requirements, benefits, and expectations and service existing customers.
    • Provide comprehensive extension services to farmers, including technical guidance, training, and support on broiler bird-rearing practices.
    • Conduct regular farm visits to assess the progress of farmers, identify challenges, and provide timely interventions and solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor within the NatnuPrenuer scheme.

    Qualifications

    Maintenance Officer

    Job Description

    • This role is responsible for the testing, monitoring, installation and troubleshooting as well as technical support for all reactive and preventive repairs and maintenance work in the Abattoir.
    • It is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the organization's critical assets and the development of both preventive and reactive maintenance to keep the Abattoir facilities constantly up and running.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment such as machines and Boilers.
    • Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical faults and issues on the production floor.
    • Conduct periodic data analysis to assess the performance of machines within the Abattoir.
    • Complies with all the company safety regulations at all times within the Abattoir.
    • Keeping maintenance log and writing of shifting reports as and when due.
    • Maintain an adequate stock level of spare parts for the Abattoir for reactive and preventive maintenance.
    • Inspecting production equipment to ensure proper operation of the Abattoir and the safety of personnel.
    • Communicating with and supporting engineers.
    • This role reports to the maintenance lead.
    • Responsible for documenting machine safety and maintenance issues for escalation.
    • Responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly reports as and when required.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    Job Purpose

    • As the Quality Control Officer you are responsible for ensuring the adherence to quality standards and regulations in the processing and packaging of frozen chicken products within the abattoir, by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to maintain product safety, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular inspections of the abattoir facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and GMP guidelines.
    • Monitor the handling, slaughtering, and processing of chickens to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform visual and sensory inspections of chicken carcasses, cuts, and packaged products to identify defects, abnormalities, or contamination.
    • Collect samples of chicken products at various stages of production for microbiological, chemical, and sensory analysis, coordinating with the laboratory for testing and analysis.
    • Monitor temperature controls and storage conditions in refrigerated areas to prevent microbial growth, spoilage, and contamination of frozen chicken products.
    • Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
