Job purpose

• To drive and coordinate the affairs and development of the preschool, nursery and primary school, whilst providing leadership, professional and managerial directions to the staff to ensure effective delivery of premium-quality educational services to our children, in accordance with the School’s vision, mission and policies.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, developming, implementinging andmanagingthe school’s short, medium and long-term plans to achieve íts objectives.
• Developing and implementing approved operational plans, including curriculum plan, human resources plan, facilities, marketing, enrollment/admissions and financial plan /budgets.
• Teaching and learning standars- continualevaluation of teaching and learning standards in the school and ensuring that high standards of professional performance and learnes result are established', achievedand susatained.
• Ensuring the maintenance of good order, conductand discipline at all times in the school.
• Stakeholders Management -promoting, building and maintaining good relationships with the school's internal and external stakeholders.

Other Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years active teaching experience in high rated schools, of which, at least 3 years as a head teacher, deputy head teacher or senior management/teaching positions.
• Have a track record of past accomplishments in school management.
• Have a good knowledge of Montessori, Early Years Foundation Stage, child development and care.
• Have an excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills, with ability to build and sustain a caring school climate and culture.
• Proficient in the use of Information Technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Your main objection will be to create/sustain a caring, pleasant, and stimulating learning environment, which will inspire excellence and foster success amongst your pupils.
• Using exciting and diverse learning methods, you will teach them the basics of reading, writing and speaking in English language.
• You will oversee their progress by tracking each child’s classroom behaviour, participation in classroom activities, assignments, and examination grades.
• You will provide suitable feedbacks, and identify pupils that require extra support and create/ implement personalised improvement plans.
• You will research into new/contemporary English language teaching techniques, and collaborate with other teaching and administrative staff to foster overall good learning experience.

Other Requirements

• B.Ed. or BSc / BA plus PGDE in English Language / English Literature.
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience as an English teacher in a primary school.
• Very fluent in English Language communication (written/spoken), and good presentation skill.
• Deep knowledge of English language requirements and teaching methods.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as being patient and resilient.
• Computer/digital agility and conversant with contemporary ICT learning Tools.
