• About the Role

• We’re hiring a Farm Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of our commercial farm portfolio in Abuja.
• This is a leadership role requiring hands-on field management, agronomic insight, labor supervision, and operational reporting.
• The ideal candidate understands both the technical and business aspects of commercial farming.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement crop calendars and seasonal plans for multiple farm sites
• Supervise planting, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting activities
• Manage farm staff, laborers, and input suppliers effectively
• Monitor soil conditions, input usage, and crop performance
• Ensure compliance with good agricultural practices (GAP) and environmental safety standards
• Maintain detailed farm records, input logs, and yield projections
• Report on budget, performance metrics, and risks to leadership weekly
• Support trial plots and field demonstrations when needed

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing a commercial farm
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Practical experience with maize, rice, soybean, or similar crops
• Ability to use farm planning tools, spreadsheets, and digital reporting apps
• Willingness to work and reside close to farm locations within Abuja

About the Role

• We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Seed Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality control throughout our seed production lifecycle.
• From land preparation to packaging, you will ensure that every batch meets internal standards, field performance targets, and regulatory compliance.
• You’ll work closely with the seed production, lab, and field teams to maintain quality at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-production soil assessments to ensure suitability for seed multiplication•Develop and enforce SOPs for seed production, drying, storage, and packaging
• Coordinate periodic field inspections and quality spot checks across farms
• Monitor pest/disease risks and flag early-stage quality concerns
• Organize germination and purity testing in collaboration with lab or third-party services
• Ensure traceability from field lots to packaged seeds
• Maintain quality documentation, batch reports, and compliance checklists
• Train field staff and outgrowers on quality expectations and procedures
• Collaborate with R&D and regulatory officers to update quality protocols

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Agronomy, Seed Technology, Crop Production, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in seed production or QA role
• Familiarity with hybrid seed systems, germination testing, and SOP compliance
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
• Ability to travel to farm sites and production facilities regularly
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive problem-solving approach
