    Instrumentation Manager, DSR NUMAN OPERATION.

    As the Instrumentation Manager at the DSR Numan Operation, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance for continuous operations. This role involves design, development, installation, and maintenance of all instrumentation systems used in the operations, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of the facility and adhering to industry standards. Accountable for the Operation & Maintenance of Instrumentation section and down time with respect to Instrumentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accountable for the trouble-free operation of all Instrumentation equipment by adopting the Preventive /predictive maintenance of the Instruments in the Factory
    • Maintaining & trouble shooting of all types of equipment of the Factory under his section and achieving the Power Generation as per the target by adopting and initiate necessary action and corrective measures.
    • Accountable for the maintaining and monitoring the record of miscarriages and taking corrective actions. Maintains the history cards of the equipment in the sections entrusted and keeps the track of maintenance activities attended
    • Plans & executes the jobs informed by the operation team in the sections entrusted for smooth operation of the section
    • Shall report to the Factory Manger any events of Instrument /DCS complications.
    • Ensuring the standby equipment availability all time and maintaining the critical spares for the equipment in respective area.
    • Accountable for the adoption of SOP during operation & maintenance
    • Synchronize with Mainly process dept along with Sugar Mill & Factory Shift Engineers for charming operation.
    • Execute Servicing and maintenance of the Factory Electrical equipment during off cop period.
    • Prepares the annual expenditure budget for his sections and analyse the variance (Budget Vs Actual) & imitate necessary effective control system.
    • The training needs to be identified of his subordinates and draw necessary schedule to import the training at regular intervals.
    • Accountable for maintaining and ensure the safety in all activities of operation and Maintenance.

    Requirements

    • Shall hold the minimum of B-Tech/BE/BSc in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or any related Engineering field.
    • COREN, NSE or any related professional qualification is an added advantage
    • A minimum of 15 - 20-year experience in any Power Plant with DCS Automation. Experience on Sugar cane Factory will be an added advantage.
    • Trouble shooting in DCS / Instruments /Flow Measurement Equipment’s.

    Planning & Strategy Manager, DSR NUMAN OPERATION.

    Determine and develop the most suitable and economically and viable methods for taking care of plant and equipment by estimating a time scale for a set maintenance or project and ensuring that the outlined deadline are met, the maintenance or project runs on schedule and all logistics available on request.  

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Head the planning section and Support in the achievement of the company goal by making sure all maintenance work in the factory has been carried out at the time specified and done to the very best
    • To ensure that during production day plan maintenance is fully observe and it maintain throughout the cropping season.
    • To be able to liaise with all the sectional heads and engineers to share ideas on how to move the factory forward in the area of technical challenges and high production performers.
    • To plan off crop maintenance for all sections before the crushing crop ends    
    • During production season, plan stop day maintenance with time constrains and charts. Do a postmortem after stop days
    • Plan labour requirements for factory during production and off crop     period.    
    • During production period to compile statistic for factory downtime and do a root cause analysis on problems for stop more than ½ hours.
    • Compile non-conformance report on all production figures and writing of monthly report on the factory position
    • Creating a checklist suitable to each equipment and for easy monitoring and maintenance. And a routine inspection, four times a day to ensure complacence of the check list report.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Engineering related Courses.

    Job Overview

    Participate in implementing the DCP approved occupational safety program, analysing and administering various components of the safety programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor DCP employees, contracts and sub-contracts to ensure compliance safety rules and regulations.
    • Ensure all persons including the general public, with proximity of DCP premises sites and operating locations are not exposed to the risks of health and safety.

    Sugar Production Manager, Numan Operations

    The Sugar Production Manager is responsible for the successful operations of the plant which include; general supervision of all phases of production, quality control, equipment maintenance, procurement, receiving and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, training of personnel and facility/physical plant up-keep. Assist in the running of administrative work in the factory as well as operational activities supervising employees, allocating work hours, and controlling budgets.     • To support in the achievement of Company goal by making sure all Factory

To ensure Overall Time Efficiency (OTE %) of greater or equals to 82%.  Also to monitor and trace the route of sucrose (Pol) and locate loses in By-products such as Bagasse, Mud cake and molasses for immediate correction.
    • Execute Factory Budget and Monitor to ensure all PR’s for both Local and Overseas items are raised and make necessary follow-ups to expedite supply to make Factory ready for crop trials and to be for yearly crop commencement on time.
    • Works closely with quality control personnel to review product consistency and appearance to produce products that meet or exceed company standards and consumer expectations.
    • Monitor operation and maintenance expenses and research ways to reduce cost while maintaining product quality and prevent downtime.
    • Work with Quality Assurance Manager to schedule human and equipment resources to achieve compliance on sanitation logs and environmental testing program.

    The Dangote Sugar Numan Operation is looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Zonal Manager for the DSR NUMAN OPERATIONS to lead our operations in the zone and drive performance excellence.     • Ensure proper compliance in the field and sections of all safety procedures and safety equipment and protective given by the company to his area to avoid personal injury, accidents and loss of man hours

The chief engineer is responsible for the technical supervision of the development, production or operation of an engineering project for a multinational corporation, a major company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Chief Engineer is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Engine Department and proper maintenance of vessels, plant and equipment
