    Finance Officer - Inbound Logistics

    Job Summary 

    We are looking for a passionate and professional Finance Officer to join our Inbound Logistics team and assist in the sorting out of vendor invoices and processing of customs duty payments. 

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collecting and sorting vendor invoices and processing customs duty payments. 
    • Reconciliation of the statement of accounts with shipping and terminal companies.
    • Timely processing of reimbursements.
    • Keeping records of business transactions and accounting records.
    • Timely processing and follow-up of refunds from shipping and port terminal companies.
    • Accurate rendering of weekly and monthly reports.
    • Reconciliation of empty container templates.
    • Processing of customs duty payments and uploading to the SharePoint platform.
    • Ability to analyze statements of account, financial statements, and interpret ratios.

    Requirements

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Accounting or related discipline.
    • Relevant professional accounting qualifications such as. ACA, ACCA.
    • Minimum of 3 - 9 years of relevant work experience.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards
    • Good knowledge of Consolidation
    • Working knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    ATC Officer

    Job Summary: 

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ATC Officer in Port Harcourt. The ATC Issuance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects and issuance of Authority to Collect (ATC) documents to drivers in accordance with established procedures. The officer is tasked with ensuring that only drivers who have been thoroughly verified are granted ATC, thereby allowing them access to the plant for loading purposes. 

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating various tabs and tools within SAP to facilitate efficient ATC (Authority to Collect) acknowledgment processes.
    • Thoroughly check waybills submitted by drivers to validate the accuracy of information.
    • Verify receipts provided by customers and depots to ensure consistency with waybill details.
    • Identify and address any discrepancies, potential mistakes, or misappropriations promptly.
    • Efficiently close trips in the system upon successful completion of deliveries.
    • Promptly raise and report any mismatches, errors, or discrepancies identified during the verification process.
    • Generate comprehensive reports on trip closures and discrepancies for management review.
    • Issue Authority to Collect (ATC) documents in adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that only active and authorized drivers receive ATC, maintaining a secure and compliant issuance process.
    • Monitor and track the status of drivers to ensure that only active and qualified individuals are granted ATC.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to update and maintain accurate driver records within the SAP system.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the ATC issuance and waybill verification processes.
    • Maintain a high level of compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and SAP best practices.
    • Participate in internal and external audits related to SAP usage, ATC issuance, and waybill verification.

    Education and Work Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain or related roles. 

    Skills And Competencies

    • Ability to adapt to changes in procedures, technologies, or work environments.
    • Ability to efficiently manage time to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Job Overview: 

    As a Senior Server Infrastructure Manager, he/she would be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of an organization’s server infrastructure. This role involves working with hardware, software, and network components to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of servers and general network systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Server Design and Implementation:
      • Design, plan, and implement server infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
      • Install, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
    2. Server Administration:
      • Perform routine system administration tasks, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
      • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls on server systems.
    3. Hardware and Software Management:
      • Procure, install, and maintain server hardware components, including processors, memory, storage, and peripherals.
      • Manage server operating systems, ensuring they are up to date with patches and security updates.
    4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

    8. Collaboration and Communication:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network administrators, system architects, and application developers.
      • Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on server infrastructure projects and issues.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 15 years post Bachelors’ qualification or 5 years post Masters’ qualification experience.
    • Candidate would be expected to possess the following Professional certifications: CCNA, CISSP, and ITIL 2.
    • Proven experience as a Server Administrator or incumbent in a similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).

    Skills and Competences:

    • Familiarity with server management tools and scripting languages.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Knowledge of IT Security best practices and compliance standards.
    • Candidate must have Analytical Thinking
    • Must be Self Confident
    • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and
    • Must have interpersonal astuteness
    • Fair knowledge of Instrumentation and OT activities would be an added advantage.
