    Mechanical Fitter

    Location: Mowe, Ogun
    Industry / Sector: Food Processing / FMCG

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.
    • Constructing structural components from raw materials.
    • Using welding equipment to fuse structural components.
    • Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size.
    • Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed.
    • Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.
    • Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
    • Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
    • Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations.

    Requirements

    • OND qualification
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a fitter.
    • The ability to use hand and power tools.
    • The ability to interpret blueprints for mechanical systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Exceptional welding and mechanical skills.

    Welder

    Location: Mowe, Ogun

    Industry / Sector: Manufacturing / FMCG

    Responsibilities

    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
    • Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
    • Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
    • Maintain and repair all machinery.
    • Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
    • Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
    • Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
    • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

    Requirements

    • OND / NCE
    • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder.
    • Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
    • Outstanding attention to detail.

    Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Supervisor

    Location: Mowe, Ogun

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and ensure a safety culture in the Factory by setting up safety systems and procedures
    • Build a team in the safety department and lead them with appropriately training them on safety standards.
    • Responsible for all statuary requirements of the country in environmental health & safety.
    • Develop and ensure the emergency preparedness plan, CTI, THA, Risk Assessments, PTW system etc.
    • Make the system audit plans and ensure that safety system audits is done as per the plan and measure the compliance.
    • Prepare and share safety reports with the Management regularly Ц on a weekly basis.
    • Responsible for establishing food safety and product quality standards in the factory.
    • Responsible for preparing Hygiene checklist and ensure the achievement of at least 85% hygiene score in the audits.
    • Responsible for the factory certifications like HACCP, BRC and FSMA Organic etc.
    • Maintain the quality documentation for the FG and AFI standards for the factory.
    • Build a strong QA team under him and conduct trainings for them periodically.
    • Respond to the customer complaints with proper CAPA and ensure timely and appropriate follow ups.
    • Make sure that quality standards and process control parameters are followed in each step of the process.
    • Ensure coordination and collaboration with the production team on the shop floor.
    • Complete and share the customer questionnaires timely and appropriately.
    • Keep the team very motivated and ensure proper and adequate refresher trainings on quality, health, safety and environment as per the training calendar.

    Requirements

    • BSc / HND in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or a related field. Higher qualifications and professional certification in a related discipline will be an advantage.
    • Minimum 6 years work experience in the relevant field - preferably the FMCG / Manufacturing industry. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Industrial Electrician

    Location: Mowe, Ogun

    Responsibilities

    • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
    • Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
    • Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.

    • Perform quality testing and inspections.

    Requirements

    • OND qualifications

    • Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
    • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.

    Fabricator

    Location: Mowe, Ogun

    Responsibilities

    • Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.
    • Taking part in product development meetings.
    • Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
    • Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
    • Marking cutting lines on material.
    • Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.
    • Ensuring that quality control standards are met.
    • Maintaining a production schedule.
    • Testing products for their functionality.
    • Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls.
    • Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
    • Adhering to assembly safety standards.

    Requirements

    • ND/NCE or Certificate from an accredited institute of learning in Welding / Fabrication or related field of study
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Fabricator
    • Any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities
    • Technical or workshop certificate.
