    Senior Compliance Officer

    Job Description

    • The SCO will ensure compliance with AHNi and funder policies, procedures, the management and reduction of general risk to the organization.
    • S/he will carry out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which AHNi’s financial resources are managed.
    • S/he will review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and the safeguard of assets.
    • S/he will plan, perform and report back on internal audits to ensure that financial control, financial guidelines of funder organizations and other control procedures in purchasing, procurement and contracting are in place and are being properly implemented and managed within AHNi offices. S/he will also be responsible for advising and monitoring quality standards and ensuring value for money.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • B.Sc in Accounting or Finance with 9 - 11 years relevant experience with international development programs that includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function.
    • M.Sc / MA in Accounting or Finance or related field with 7 - 9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function.
    • Experience in accounting and accounting principles sufficient to prepare complex and detailed financial and budgetary analyses.
    • Experience in financial reporting, and financial management systems applications
    • Familiarity with USAID or similar donor-funded programs is required.
    • CPA. ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required.
    • Overseas internal control experience is an advantage.

    Program Officer (G-VAX)

    Job Description

    • The Program Officer will work under the supervision of the Senior Program Advisor to provide programmatic and management support for the efficient implementation of the COVID-19 G-Vax project.
    • He/she will coordinate with internal teams and partners to monitor program activities in relation to the workplan and notify the STL of progress towards meeting timelines.
    • The Program Officer will be assigned to tasks related to the implementation of project activities, including coordinating technical assistance, supporting the deployment of assessments and surveys, and organizing workshops and special events. S/he will be responsible for providing timely weekly and monthly reporting of intervention activities to the State Team Lead.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • B.Sc / BA in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or its recognized equivalent with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience with international development programs.

    Technical Officer - Comprehensive HIV/TB

    Job Description

    • Will provide technical support at state level to implement high quality care, treatment,
    • and support activities with primary focus on technical areas of comprehensive TB and HIV/AIDS programs including laboratory, pharmacy, logistics, prevention, care, treatment, TB, RMNCH, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation.     Technical Assistant - Monitoring & Evaluation

    Job Description

    • Will be engaged to support planning, review and implementation of core M&E activities with the view of ensuring highest data quality for evidence-based decision making and program improvement across project supported facilities.
    • S/He will support coordination and oversight functions on strengthening health information systems through strategic information processes and innovations at the state level and across AHNi supported facilities and in line with PEPFAR and USAID guidelines.
    • Provide support to sites in the state, including interacting with site Program Managers, M&E focal points, M&E officers of SACA/SASCP, other Implementing Agencies and local research groups on needs and ensuring that these parties understand and can support these requirements.
    • Also, s/he will work with program and technical staff to support the correct implementation and use of monitoring and evaluation tools, and adherence to complete, correct and timely reporting, ensuring that the quality of program/project activities adheres to SOPs by supporting the development and implementation of appropriate mechanisms to ensure quality.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MBBS / MD, B.Sc / BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Physiology or other health related Degrees with 1-year post NYSC work experience.
    • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, or other relevant disciplines will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives.

    Technical Assistant - Community ART Management

    Job Description

    • Will provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS programs (ART, PMTCT, TB/HIV, RH/HIV, and HTS) and other services including direct service provision support for community level services based on the ongoing HIV and Tb surge in Akwa Ibom state.
    • Support, scale up and coordinate the community level implementation of integrated HIV and TB surge strategies aimed at maximizing HIV case finding efficiencies based on the 95:95:95 strategies.
    • S/He will support optimal linkage and enrolment rates for identified HIV positive adult, adolescent and pediatric clients at community level based on the 95:95:95 strategies, support the community level implementation of test and start strategy including same day ART enrolment for identified HIV positive adults, adolescent and pediatric patients  based on the 95:95:95 strategies and  also support the community level implementation of strategies aimed at optimizing retention in ART care and enhancing virological suppression for adult, adolescent and pediatric patients enrolled in project-supported treatment locations based on the 95:95:95 strategies.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MBBS with a minimum of 1 year post national youth service experience in clinical care OR Registered Nurse / Midwife / B.Sc in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
    • A sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB and TB/HIV technical areas.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian clinical setting including government and non-government settings
    • Experience in integrated HIV care delivery
    • Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the social, political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infection.

    Technical Assistant - High Frequency Reporting

    Job Description

    • The Technical Assistant - High Frequency Reporting, Analytics, Visualization & Learning will provide high frequency reporting, analytics and data visualization technical assistance and support to the project for routine and survey data by providing and coordinating technical assistance and capacity building in data analysis and data visualization.
    • S/He will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, assisting with programming charts and other data display/visualization products, and promoting easy access to these products. Enhancing the capacity to perform custom analyses within program teams.
    • Develop daily, weekly and bi-weekly performance review charts to review performance. Perform daily data profiling in order identify incorrect entries, gaps and outlier analysis on the DHIS. Create and update a daily performance tracker to attain real time tracking results, course correction, better capture results and make timely corrections.
    • Also, perform routine data collection, abstraction, processing and analyzing datasets on a frequent basis to identify early-warning systems, that provide important signals about areas that could be changed or adapted to increase impact to achieve targets and results.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • 2 - 3 years of relevant high frequency reporting, data visualization, monitoring & evaluation programming and analytic experience.
    • Proficiency in designing M&E and reporting tools.
    • Demonstrated experience in understanding and interpreting complex ideas and / or data into visual information.
    • A strong design portfolio with samples of information design work, highlighting strengths as a visual communicator.
    • Experience using data analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in creating dashboards using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
