    Database Security Analyst

    Description

    • Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls that protect enterprise databases and the data they store. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, ensuring database environments remain secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats.
    • Also work closely with database administrators, cloud and infrastructure teams, application owners, and security leadership to embed security best practices across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid database platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement, and maintain database security controls including authentication, authorization, encryption, auditing, and monitoring.
    • Secure databases across on-premise and cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL).
    • Configure policies and manage database activity monitoring (DAM) solutions.
    • Conduct database vulnerability assessments, configuration reviews, and penetration testing support.
    • Monitor database activity logs and alerts, escalating potential security issues as required
    • Investigate and respond to database-related security incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
    • Support audits by providing evidence, risk assessments, and remediation plans.
    • Identify and mitigate database-specific security risks and contribute to enterprise risk management activities.
    • Advise on identity and access management (IAM) integration for databases.
    • Evaluate new database technologies and security tools, making recommendations based on risk and business value.
    • Work closely with database administrators, application teams, and security colleagues.
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Security Policy, Governance and Compliance

    Qualification & Experience
    Mandatory:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or database-specific security certifications
    • Experience with security tooling such as Imperva, or native cloud database security services
    • Background in automation or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, SQL)
    • Experience supporting large-scale or highly regulated financial institution

    Desirable:

    • Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer)

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong hands-on experience securing enterprise database platforms.
    • Deep understanding of database authentication models, role-based access control, and privilege management.
    • Experience with encryption at rest and in transit, key management systems (KMS/HSM), and secrets management.
    • Knowledge of SQL injection, insider threats, and database-specific attack vectors.
    • Experience supporting compliance and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, CIS)
    • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

    AI Security Personnel

    Description

    • Secure machine learning and AI systems from design and development through deployment and operation.
    • This role sits within cybersecurity, working with data science, engineering, and IT governance teams to ensure AI systems are resilient, trustworthy, and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, translating emerging AI risks into practical, scalable security controls.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, and inference.
    • Implement controls to protect against AI-specific threats such as data poisoning, model theft, prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and model inversion.
    • Support secure deployment of AI models in cloud, containerized, and API-based environments.
    • Assist in securing third-party and open-source models, frameworks, and datasets.
    • Contribute to AI security risk assessments, threat models, and control mappings.
    • Support the development and enforcement of AI security standards, guardrails, and secure-by-design patterns.
    • Align AI security practices with broader enterprise risk, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, emerging AI regulations).
    • Participate in AI governance forums and provide security input to model approval and review processes.
    • Help define logging, monitoring, and alerting requirements for AI systems.
    • Support investigation and response to AI-related security incidents or misuse.
    • Track vulnerabilities and emerging threats related to AI platforms and tooling.
    • Work with data scientists and engineers to embed security into AI development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Provide guidance on secure data handling, model access controls, and secrets management.

    Qualification & Experience
    Mandatory:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
    • Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python).
    • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or emerging AI/security credentials

    Desirable:

    • Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, or data security roles.
    • Working knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI system architectures.
    • Understanding of common AI/ML security risks and threat models.
    • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks or platforms (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, SageMaker, Azure ML).
    • Experience securing APIs, cloud services, containers, or MLOps platforms.
    • Ability to communicate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Familiarity with data governance, privacy engineering, or responsible AI principles.
    • Experience with threat modeling techniques (e.g., STRIDE) applied to AI systems.

    Network Security Analyst

    Description

    • The Network Security Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization’s network infrastructure by designing, implementing, and monitoring security controls.
    • The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, managing firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
    • Work closely with IT teams to assess risks, strengthen defences, and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures (on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments)
    • Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and secure remote access solutions
    • Perform network security assessments, vulnerabilities scanning, and penetration testing remediation
    • Monitor security events and logs; investigate and respond to security incidents
    • Implement and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices
    • Manage network segmentation, access controls, and zero-trust security models
    • Secure network protocols, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure

    • Experience securing cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation
    • Familiarity with zero trust architecture, network segmentation, and least-privilege access models
    • Knowledge of secure network protocols and encryption technologies
    • Experience responding to and investigating network security incidents
    • Understanding of common attack techniques (e.g., DDoS, MITM, malware, lateral movement)
    • Ability to develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures
    • Experience supporting compliance and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, CIS)

    Qualification & Experience
    Mandatory:

    • 3–6 years’ relevant experience
    • Industry-recognized certifications, such as:
      • CISSP, CISM, or CISA
      • CCNP Security or CCIE Security
      • CEH, GSEC, or equivalent network security certifications

    Desirable:

    • Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
