Responsibilities

• Technicians/mechanic management – Service providers
• Ensure the application of procedures to automobile repairs and maintenance
• Be constantly updated on automobile technical specifications, cost of spare parts and current trends
• Own and apply in-depth knowledge of heavy and light operational vehicles and maintenance techniques
• Negotiate service level Agreement and ensure the company fleet are in top shape
• Streamline and monitor fuel purchases system for all vehicles with a view to controlling cost
• Maintain vehicles in peak operating condition,
• Manage internal parts and service Unit, or appoint an independent service center and parts supplier to handle the work.
• Minimize downtime, maintain strict servicing time limits and negotiate priority repair schedules with service centers
• Set up scheduling maintenance programme and pursue greater cost efficiency.
• Ensure that technicians are aware of procedure
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools equipment and other materials
• Monitor and review work flow and work orders to reduce delay
• Ensures safety of technicians
• Ensure proper arrangement, orderliness and safety of the truck park
• Ensures proper parking and arrangement of truck park

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum of 10 years relevant and practical experience in managing Technicians/Mechanics
• A minimum of First degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good multi-tasking skills
• Pro-active and organized
• Leadership, coordinating, scheduling and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Safe driving of Trucks
• Deliver and pick up vehicles as assigned
• Ensure clients vehicles are safely strapped on truck and efficiently deliver same
• Has responsibility for the cleanliness of truck assigned to you.
• Verify the state of Truck before and after a job is done and report its status to the workshop Manager
• Takes responsibility for the safe delivery of client’s cars/wares
• Verify state of client’s vehicle upon pickup and at delivery points.
• Execute as many jobs as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 35years old and sabove.
• Must possess a Valid Truck Driver’s license
• Minimum of WAEC/GCE certificate
• An unblemished accident free record
• A minimum of 7years experience driving trucks
• Ability to drive a minimum of six tyres truck
• Ability to read and write.
• God fearing, cool headed and honest disposition
• Ability to drive articulated truck is a plus
• Must be conversant with Nigeria road network
• Must be neat, assertive and showing good team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Ability to repair company’s truck which includes, Iveco, Actros, Mack, Man Diesel  etc.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and determine the cause of problems with a truck
• Understand the working of critical parts of a truck, such as Nozzles, balloon etc
• Assist in the procurement of spare parts when instructed to do so
• Attempt to present a neat outlook
• Respond to instructions by the workshop Manager

Requirements

• Must be 30years and above
• Possess Government Trade Test Certificate
• Ability to work on truck such as Man Diesel, Iveco, Actros, Mack,
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ready to travel at short notice
• Must be hardworking and able to communicate in fluent English
