Purpose Statement

• We are looking to hire an analytical, results-driven Junior Back-end Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.
• The Junior Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

Key Deliverables

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Write “clean”, well-designed code.
• Produce detailed specifications.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Follow industry best practices.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of software development experience in FinTech
• Proficiency with PHP(Laravel), Node.js and/or Python
• Understanding of SQL and database schema design.
• Understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a group.

Purpose Statement

• We are looking to hire a Mobile App Developer Intern to create, maintain, and implement the source code to develop mobile apps and mobile platform programs that meet the needs and requirements of our business using computer programming languages.

Key Deliverables

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
• Actively involved in creating fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Design interfaces to improve user experience.
• Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features.
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Relevant training & certifications.
• 1 - 2 years of experience as a Mobile developer.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of building mobile applications using Flutter(dart).
• Knowledge with the use of Kotlin, Java or Swift is a plus.
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or Google Playstore is an added advantage.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like git.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with OOP design principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
