Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal policies
• Maintain and enhance robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
• Lead the external audit process, managing relationships with auditors and driving continuous improvements in financial reporting processes and systems
• Conduct comprehensive financial and economic analyses, including investment appraisals using NPV and IRR methodologies, to support strategic decision-making
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, monitoring budget performance and providing detailed variance analysis
• Collaborate with department heads to enforce financial accountability, optimize costs, and uphold financial discipline across the organization
• Oversee all corporate tax activities, ensuring timely compliance with tax regulations and developing tax-efficient strategies within legal frameworks
• Manage multi-entity financial reporting, ensuring consistency in accounting policies, consolidation of financial statements, and intercompany reconciliations
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performance function while fostering collaboration with operations, commercial, and executive leadership
• Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, strengthening governance, compliance frameworks, and internal audit readiness to promote a culture of accountability and transparency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
• Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 5–7 years in senior management roles
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and consolidation, tax planning and compliance, budgeting and forecasting, multi-entity financial management, and financial controls and governance
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/local GAAP) and industry-specific accounting practices
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities with excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience within the energy sector or a comparable industry
• Strategic thinking and business acumen with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to lead complex external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors and tax authorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial and economic investment analysis (e.g., NPV, IRR)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards, maintaining robust accounting practices and internal controls.
• Manage corporate treasury functions including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, credit facilities, and hedging strategies to safeguard financial stability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent
• Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in senior finance leadership roles
• Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, project finance, and managing complex capital structures
• Deep knowledge and mastery of IFRS and GAAP compliance standards
• Proven experience in strategic financial modeling and corporate financial planning
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance in the energy sector

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or relevant master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience leading financial operations within the energy industry or similar sectors
• Proficiency in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and hedging strategies
